Amber Heard denied it, and we may never know who supplied it, but the "Aquaman" actress has essentially been cleared of dropping a deuce in Johnny Depp's bed after a judge in the UK delivered his own opinion on the mystery pooper. The vindication of Heard went down Monday morning as a ruling was handed down by Justice Andrew Nicol in Britain's High Court of Justice.

In a section titled "Faeces on the bed," Justice Nicol outlines why he does not think Amber Heard is personally responsible for the big stink.

According to the court documents, Amber Heard and Johnny Depp's housecleaner stumbled upon the poop back in 2016 after a birthday dinner for the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star.

"On the bed she was horrified and disgusted to find a pile of faeces," the UK court documents read.

The housekeeper claimed, at the time, that she didn't think the poop was left by the then-couple's two dogs, Pistol and Boo, because the small dogs could not apparently climb up on the bed. She also claimed the tiny pooches left much smaller bowel movements than what was on the bed.

The Blast

After examining all the evidence, including photographs of the turds taken by the housekeeper, Justice Nicol wrote about his belief of the incident.

"For what it is worth, I consider that it is unlikely that Ms Heard or one of her friends was responsible," the Justice wrote.

He explained, "Mr Depp had left that night for his property in Sweetzer. As long as he was away, it was Ms Heard who was likely to suffer from the faeces on the bed, not him. It was, therefore, a singularly ineffective means for Ms Heard or one of her friends to ‘get back’ at Mr Depp."

There was also some evidence that one of the dogs did indeed have some stomach issues and cited a specific incident after the animal accidentally ingested cannabis.

"Other evidence in the case showed that Boo (one of the two dogs) had an incomplete mastery of her bowels after she had accidentally consumed some marijuana," Justice Nicols wrote.

The Justice also cited testimony that Amber Heard had made in the case, claiming she always cleaned up the dog's messes in the bed and did not leave them for the housekeeper.

The poop mystery was definitely one of the wilder moments in the ongoing drama between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, but the Justice of the High Court wrote that it was an important piece of the puzzle to Depp's defamation claims against his ex-wife as it served as a major marker in the end of their relationship.

"Mr Depp’s belief that Ms Heard or one of her friends was responsible for leaving the
faeces on the bed is relevant because it led him to conclude that his marriage to Ms
Heard could not continue and it was the cause of part of the argument which
subsequently took place on 21st May 2016," Justice Nicol explained.

The opinion was part of a larger ruling handed down that found "substantial" evidence for the tabloid, The Sun, to label Johnny Depp a wife beater in a 2018 article.
