Pamela Anderson Recalls When 'Hell Began' During Her Marriage To Tommy Lee

Pamela Anderson is sharing details about her marriage to rocker Tommy Lee. She recalls their divorce as being devastating.

The Playboy model turned-actress is telling her life story in her new memoir titled “Love, Pamela”. The book is promising to give details on the big moments in her life, including her marriage to Tommy Lee, the sex tape that shocked the world, and Anderson’s personal moments that she hasn’t previously shared with the world.

Pamela shared a defining moment featured in her book with People magazine. “The hardest, lowest, most difficult point of [her] life,” claims Anderson, the moment she had to end her marriage with the shock rocker.

Anderson and Lee’s relationship low key defined the 90s and the recent Hulu show about the sex tape that shocked the 90s was a hit but Anderson is determined to tell her own story.

The tape dropped at the top of their marriage and Anderson has described the leak as being one of the reasons her marriage was in shambles. While being with Tommy was “the only time [she] was ever truly in love,” she had to move on from the toxic situation.

Anderson recalled the night her marriage turned sour or as she describes it, when “hell began”. It was in 1998 and she and Tommy had just had a tumultuous argument where the drummer physically assaulted her during an argument.

“I still couldn’t believe that the person I loved the most was capable of what had happened that night,” she says if Tommy who ended up spending six months in jail. Anderson writes that during the altercation, Tommy had kicked her in the back while she was holding their second son, Dylan who was 7-months at the time.

Anderson was forced to make a decision about her marriage right there. “We were both devastated, but I had to protect my babies.” While the moment was gut-wrenching for Anderson, she has shared that she will forever be grateful for Lee despite the negatives in their past because of her sons.

Brandon is now 26 and Dylan is 25, the parents still “check in [on each other] every once in a while.” Anderson has had other bad relationships in the past, the Baywatch star has been married five times including Kid Rock, Rick Saloman, her bodyguard, Dan Hayhurst, and a businessman.

After all those failed relationships, Anderson is ready to just be on her own. After her last failed married to Hayhurst, Anderson said she no longer needs a man.

“I don’t need someone to bring me roses. I’ve just planted a hundred rose bushes. I can get them any time I want,” she quipped to the mag. “I’m sure it would be lovely if someone else was in my life and wanted the same thing, but I’ve just never met them. It’s usually about catering to them, and there has to be a balance.”
