"Hawkeye" star Jeremy Renner took to Twitter to inform fans that he is back home with his family weeks after being hospitalized due to a snow plow accident on New Year's Day.
In his post, he shared his excitement about watching the return of his show, "Mayor of Kingstown," while he continues with his recovery journey.
Shortly after, fans penned welcome home comments, sharing their happiness to see him back with his family. Reports previously revealed that the actor almost died while waiting for help to arrive at the scene of his accident.

Taking to Twitter on January 16, Renner revealed that he had returned home to his family after spending over ten days in the hospital since being hospitalized on New Year's Day.
The actor, who suffered chest trauma and orthopedic injuries from a snowplow accident, returned home after undergoing two surgeries to deal with the wounds he sustained.
While he did not give the exact timing on when he left the hospital, Renner shared that he spent part of the day watching the season two premiere of Paramount+ hit series "Mayor of Kingstown" with his loved ones.

He stars in the show as Mike McLusky, the mayor of the fictional town where the series is centered. "Outside my brain fog in recovery, I was very excited to watch episode 201 with my family at home," penned the actor on the social media platform.

Renner's post elicited a warm response from fans who were glad to see him out of the hospital and back with his family.

Throughout his hospital stay, Renner had shared updates about his health condition with his followers that helped allay their fears.
In one post, he uploaded a selfie of himself on his ICU bed with visible bruises on his face that looked to be healing.
He captioned the post with words of gratitude to thank fans for their support while he fought for his life. It read, "thank you all for your kind words. . Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all."
Another upload featured the actor and his sister bonding together in the hospital as she was seen massaging his scalp while they both shared a laugh.

Jeremy Renner's Condition Was 'Much Worse Than Anyone Knows'
While it appears that the actor is now finally out of the danger zone, his return to life might not have been possible as his injury "is much worse" than was earlier reported, per Radar Online.
Sources disclosed that the Marvel star "nearly bled out" and "almost died" during the period it took for help to arrive at the scene of his accident.
'It's much worse than anyone knows. Jeremy is very aware of the fact that he almost died out there," said a source, adding, "the right side of Jeremy's chest was crushed, and his upper torso had collapsed. He also had a bad head wound that was bleeding and a leg injury."
Another insider noted, "Jeremy was in a lot of pain and was having difficulty breathing. He knew he was in bad shape and that he might not make it out of this."
