Jeremy Renner's Condition Reportedly 'Much Worse Than Anyone Knows,' Needs YEARS To Recover

Jeremy Renner was barely pulled back from the brink of death following his snowplow accident earlier in the month. The actor suffered multiple critical injuries and almost died before help arrived to take him to the hospital.
He underwent two surgeries to help stabilize his condition, but the nature of his accident has required him to remain in the intensive care unit.
According to recent reports, the Marvel star will require a lengthy recovery period and is aware of the seriousness of his injuries. It is also claimed that it will take at least two years before he gets back to full strength.

Jeremy Renner's Condition Is 'Much Worse Than Anyone Knows'
According to Radar Online, the Marvel star's injury "is much worse" than earlier reported following his ghastly snow plow accident at the start of the year.
A report by the publication revealed that the actor "nearly bled out" and "almost died" before help arrived on the scene.
"It's much worse than anyone knows. Jeremy is very aware of the fact that he almost died out there," an insider close to Renner shared with the news outlet.
The source added, "the right side of Jeremy's chest was crushed, and his upper torso had collapsed. He also had a bad head wound that was bleeding and a leg injury."
Another source said of the incident, "Jeremy was in a lot of pain and was having difficulty breathing. He knew he was in bad shape and that he might not make it out of this."
Jeremy Renner Sustained Chest And Orthopedic Injuries
Renner close call with death occurred on News Year's day while attempting to tow a vehicle that belonged to a stranded family member.
The said vehicle was stuck in the snow near his mansion close to Lake Tahoe, Nevada. A 14,330-pound snowplow plowed over the actor and utterly crushed him as they were taking the automobile out of the way.
After sustaining acute chest damage and orthopedic wounds, he was airlifted to a medical facility for urgent medical care. On January 2, he underwent chest surgery in addition to having metal pins put in his legs to stabilize the bones in his legs.
Despite surviving the frightening incident, the actor was still not entirely out of the danger zone and has stayed in the intensive care unit ever since.
He Thanked Fans And Well Wishers For Their 'Kind Words'
Renner is aware of the severity of his wounds and faces a protracted recuperation process. Some close pals have already predicted that it would take at least two years before he gets back to his previous strength.
However, he has not allowed himself to be downtrodden by his condition as he has continued to share his updates with fans and followers on social media.
In the past few days, he has shared a selfie of himself that he took on his bed in the ICU. He penned the post with the caption, "Thank you all for your kind words. . Im too messed up now to type. But I send love to you all."
According to The Blast, he also uploaded a clip of himself having fun with his sister, who was massaging his scalp. He captioned the clip, "ICU SPA MOMENT TO LIFT MY SPIRITS. Thank you, mama, Thank you, sister, Thank you for your love.'"
Friends And Family Wish Jeremy Renner 'Speedy Recovery'
Since his incident, the "Mayor of Kingstown" star has received goodwill messages from fans, family, Marvel peers, and other Hollywood colleagues.
"Speedy recovery buddy. Sending love your way," Marvel co-star Chis Hemsworth commented on Renner's ICU post.
"Sending all of our love, brother, and hopes for a speedy recovery," read a get-well wish from the Russo Brothers, who helmed several Marvel films.
"Damn buddy. Good to see that face of yours. Wishing you nothing but love and a steady and safe recovery," penned actress Michelle Monaghan.
Other colleagues like Chris Evans, Chris Pratt, Orlando Bloom, Kate Hudson, and Kate Beckinsale also sent in messages wishing the actor a speedy recovery.
