Selena Gomez Reportedly Finds New Flame In The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart

Selena Gomez is off the streets!

Not much has been known about the "Wizards of Waverly Place" actress' relationships since her public breakup with Justin Bieber in March 2018 after dating on and off since 2011. However, recent reports suggest the singer is in a relationship with Drew Taggart. The couple has reportedly been seeing each other for a while and has chosen to keep their relationship low-key.

Gomez and Taggart have had successful careers in the music industry, with the "Same Old Love" singer being a multi-platinum-selling artist and Taggart being a successful DJ and producer. The news of their romance was confirmed by US Weekly through a source close to the stars who stated:

"They aren't trying to hide their romance by sneaking around at members only clubs."

The person also noted that the lovebirds are not putting any pressure on themselves but are very casual and low-key and that they spend time going bowling and to the movies when spending time together.  

The insider also revealed that the 30-year-old is openly affectionate with the rocker, adding, "Selena can hardly keep her hands off him," and that they are "having a lot of fun together." Their relationship comes four months after it was confirmed that the 33-year-old was dating Steve Jobs' youngest daughter, Eve Jobs.

Although a source explained that theirs began as a casual summer fling after getting closer throughout the holiday, it fizzled out before the EDM artist started seeing the former Disney Channel star. 

Going further, it was reported that the breakup between the 24-year-old model and the DJ was completely amicable, noting that the pair remain friends and are both "very mature and cool about going [their] separate ways."

"The Only Murders in the Building" star has been linked to some notable names in the industry, Niall Horan, Zedd, and Charlie Puth, with her most recent before Taggart being fellow musician The Weeknd. The Texas native dated him in January 2017 before the twosome broke off in October of that same year.

Not alone being seen with big names, the "Good Intentions" star has some names tied to his belt, including Meredith Mickelson and Haley Rowe. In March 2021, his split from model Chantel Jeffries was confirmed after one year of dating.

Their breakup was also amicable, as the "Grammy Award" winner's representative noted they remain friends. 

The "Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising" has been in the public eye for over a decade and has been the subject of constant scrutiny and criticism throughout her career. Recently, she was the target of body-shaming comments, with some people saying she needs to lose weight. 

As reported by The Blast, rather than sit back and ignore, Gomez has decided to own her weight gain without any apologies. During the recently held 2023 "Golden Globes Award" ceremony, she looked amazing on the red carpet, but some held differing opinions on her appearance.

Taking to her Instagram, she responded classily by admitting that she had gained some weight, but it was because she enjoyed herself during the holidays. This onslaught of trolling led her to take a break from Instagram for a long time before making a return by posting a bunch of selfies alongside images from personal moments. 

Per Mirror, one troll dissed her that her body would look like her mum's if she kept letting the weight fluctuate while another noted needlessly, "Selena, time to get in shape."

In the video, the "When the Sun Goes Down" singer said, "I'm a little bit big right now because I enjoyed myself during the holidays," while appearing unconcerned about the chatter surrounding her physical appearance. She then looked over at her 9-year-old sister featured in the live video and burst into laughter after adding, "But we don't care."

The outfit in question was a beautiful strapless dress from high-end designer Valentino, which featured a neckline that showed off the "Another Cinderella Story" actress' ample cleavage. It came with oversized puff sleeves, a long black train, and a thigh-revealing slit. 

Gomez accessorized the look with shiny drop earrings and a pair of black strappy heels while keeping her glam and hairstyle simple.
