Grammy award-winning singer Rihanna is "obsessed" with her baby boy. The business mogul and her partner ASAP Rocky broke the internet last year after announcing the singer's pregnancy, which followed her multiple iconic maternity looks.

According to reports, the couple is enjoying their first year of parenthood and focusing on their son, who turns a year old in May.

Rihanna recently shared her son's first social media post, featuring a video of him smiling at her from a car seat. The iconic singer revealed her pregnancy in January last year with a photo shoot of her cradling her baby bump.

Rocky previously spoke about his visions and idea of himself as a father and what he'd like to teach his kids. The rapper spoke about making sure his children didn't lose their imagination and said he actually loves cartoons to this day. Rocky also said he'd like to raise open-minded kids who are really cool with cool parents.

A source revealed to People magazine that Rihanna and Rocky are both extremely happy and totally focused on their son. The celebrity couple welcomed their son, their first child together in May 2022. The source said, "Rihanna loves being a mom. She is obsessed with her baby boy."

The insider also added that Rocky is heavily involved in their relationship and son and is "a great Dad." At the time of Rihanna's birth in May last year, People confirmed via another insider that the singer was "doing well" post-birth. They said, "They are very excited to be parents. Rihanna is already a wonderful mom."

Rihanna Shared Her Son's Identity On Social Media

In December 2022, Rihanna finally made her son's first social media post, sharing an adorable video of him on TikTok. In the short clip, their son smiled widely at his mother, whom fans could hear speaking in the background. She was cooing at him, saying, "You tryna get Mommy's phone?"

Later in the video, the baby boy, whose name is still not public information, yawned adorably as he stared out of the car window from his seat. Rihanna captioned the video "Hacked," 

The video is the singer's first TikTok ever and currently has over 20 million views and over five million likes with thousands of comments.

Rihanna Announced Her Pregnancy Last January

The "Diamonds" singer first revealed that she and Rocky were expecting last January, with a photo shoot showcasing her baby bump in New York. At the time, a source close to the Grammy winner spoke to People, saying she was super excited to "be a mom." They also said Rihanna and Rocky "couldn't be happier" about the pregnancy.

The insider noted, "Everything Rihanna does, she does it her own way on her own timetable, and having a baby is no different. They (Riri and Rocky) are just like any other pair of parents-to-be. Yes, they happen to be famous, but they're just the cutest, giddiest young couple that's expecting kids."

Not long after Rihanna gave birth to their baby boy, Rocky had a cover interview with Dazed magazine for their summer 2022 issue. During the interview, the "Praise the Lord" rapper spoke about his visions for himself as a father and what lessons he'd like to instill in his children.

Rocky said, "I will always remind my children to never lose their imagination, even as adults, no matter what. I actually love to watch cartoons – I've watched like Teletubbies, Blue's Clues, Yo Gabba Gabba, Peppa Pig, and Baby Shark."

The rapper also said that as a father, he wants to raise "open-minded children" and ensure they don't become "people who discriminate." He also added, "And I'm not trying to describe a saint, but realistically, I just want a cool child with cool parents."
