After Losing A Bet With Ernie Johnson, Shaq Paid Up And Ate The Frog!

Shaquille O'Neal is a man of his word! While it appeared that he wasn't going to pay up and settle a bet he made, he came through like the champ he is.

After making and losing a bet with his "NBA on TNT" cohost Ernie Johnson about who will win the Georgia vs. TCU game, it was finally time for the NBA legend to pay up.

About a week ago, O'Neal told Johnson, "When Georgia beats TCU, I'll eat some frogs. I'll eat a horned frog." Johnson was pretty excited about the bet saying, "I'd love to see it." A few days after losing the bet, O'Neal tried to fool his Tuesday night cohosts by eating some fried chicken, but cohost Adam Lefkoe called him out on it.

"What is this? Is this what I think it is because of the Georgia win?" Lefkoe asked O'Neal as he picked up a plate of chicken and placed it on the desk. "Are these frog legs?" to which O'Neal responded, "They sure are." When Lefkoe opened the lid to the plate, he immediately knew it wasn't frog and called the O'Neal out. "Shaq, that's chicken. You need to stop lying," he said. But Lefkoe wanted O'Neal to pay up on the bet when Johnson was present on Thursday, so all's well that ends well. O'Neal agreed to do it right on Thursday night, and so he did.

It was certainly time for O'Neal to pay up on this bet already. Johnson was ready to go wearing a football helmet while he served O'Neal some frog legs on a big, covered plate. O'Neal looked ready to settle his bet and he did just that, diving into the plate of frog legs. "I'm a man of my word," O'Neal said in between bites. "I just want to let you all know, these frog legs good."

Now while O'Neal originally made the bet saying he would eat a horned frog, his cohosts were gracious enough to allow the loophole of eating some fried frog legs to make it a little easier for him to complete the bet.

In a recently shared video on O'Neal's Instagram page captioned, "what the hell is @kennysmith," it appears that the former NBA star found a new target to have some fun with. The video shows Smith sitting on a couch with Charles Barkley, no socks or shoes on, and poses the hilarious question of what his feet are doing.

O'Neal's fans dropped into the comments to help him tease Smith a bit. "Scratching that athletes foot," one follower wrote. "Starting a camp fire," another said.

A few people wanted to help Smith out. "He bout to go to sleep! That’s sleep preparation Step 1! ??," said one fan. Another added, "Self soothing…. As I’m doing the same thing… ??"

Smith also left a comment for O'Neal saying, "My feet clean though!!!!"
