Courtney Hope's New 'Young And The Restless' Character Revealed

Courtney Hope is bringing the excitement to Genoa City.

The soap actress, who was fired from "The Bold and the Beautiful" back in August is getting ready to join its sister soap "The Young and the Restless."

Hope signed on to Y&R less than two weeks after ending her three-year run on B&B.

For fans of Hope, this was happy news because they felt B&B never used her to her full potential.

Now, she'll have a chance to show off her talents when she makes her Y&R debut.

Hope previously worked on "The Bold and the Beautiful" as the character of Sally Spectra.

Sally was the niece of the original Sally Spectra, played by Darlene Conley. Aside from sharing the same name, Sally also inherited her aunt's passion for fashion.

Throughout her time on the show, Sally struggled with her fashion design career. After her company went under, she landed a job working for her rival Forrester Creations.

Sally's personal life often took center stage over her career. She had a brief romance with Thomas Forrester before moving on with Wyatt Spencer.

Sally and Wyatt became a favorite couple among B&B fans. However, their relationship was broken up by Wyatt's ex-girlfriend Flo Fulton. 

Towards the end of Sally's run, fans witnessed the cheery redhead take on a sinister side when she tricked Wyatt into thinking she was dying. Believing Sally didn't have much time left, Wyatt decided to go back to her.

When Flo learned Sally was faking her illness, she was kidnaped and held captive by the fashion designer.

Before too long, Sally's plan was exposed. Although, she got off scot-free when it came to criminal charges, she ended up losing Wyatt.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" viewers last saw Sally on August 5th. After she received backlash for her misdeeds, she disappeared from Los Angeles.

Now, she's going to be making a new home in a new soap town.

On October 7th, Courtney Hope took to Instagram to share the happy news that the Sally Spectra character would be coming to "The Young and the Restless."

Up until that point both the actress and the show have kept mum about her character. Now that it's official she'll be reprising the role of Sally, fans are wondering what the plans are for the character.

Now that the cat's out of the bag, the big question is what will Sally expect upon her arrival in Genoa City.

Fashion design was Sally's dream, and odds are she'll get a second chance to pursue her career with the help of an old pal. Speculation is that Sally will receive a job offer from her aunt's friend Lauren Fenmore.

Lauren owns a chain of boutiques and will bring Sally on to design a new clothing line.

Aside from receiving a second chance at a job, Sally will also find love again. The redhead is bound to mingle with the younger crowd, where she's sure to capture the attention of Theo Vanderway and Kyle Abbott.

No matter what plans the show has in store, fans are excited to see Hope and her Sally character back on television.

Sally is set to make her Y&R debut on November 3rd.

Of course wherever Sally goes, chaos is sure to follow. With her shaking things up in Genoa City, she's bound to make an enemy or two along the way.

The question is who will Sally be starting a rivalry with, and who will be the lucky guy to win her heart.
