Machine Gun Kelly Remembers Exact Moment He Slipped Engagement Ring On Megan Fox

Machine Gun Kelly is taking a long trip down memory lane and celebrating a year of being engaged to the love of his life, Megan Fox!

The sensational couple initially crossed paths in March of 2020 after meeting on the set of "Midnight In The Switchgrass," a crime thriller film in which both of them were co-stars. 

Seeming to form a bond, the pair hit it off immediately and began their whirlwind romance in May of that same year.

The "Emo Girl" rapper, who is now officially off the dating market, marked a very important moment in his life, which happens to be the day he proposed to Megan Fox!

Taking to his Instagram Story, the dad of one posted a seven-second video showcasing a moment in his life that would forever be engraved into his memory. The short clip displayed the instant he proposed to Fox and put the extravagant gorgeous-looking engagement ring on the actress's left ring finger.

The gorgeous ring featured two interlocking thorn bands holding the pear-shaped gems alongside a colorless natural diamond and an emerald gem that adorned the surface of the ring and carried a significant meaning, representing the lovebirds' birthstone. 

Both Fox and her beau, MGK, appeared to have prepared for that day as they had their hands perfectly manicured and designed their fingernails with metallic chrome nail polish, although the "Jennifer's Body" actress added some touches to hers by making nude ombre nails. 

Reminiscing on the eventful day, he simply captioned the post, writing, "one year ago under a banyan tree."

MGK and the "Transformers" actress have proven to the world that love exists and can find you in the place where you least expect it!

Per The Blast, the lovebirds, after their beautiful yet intimate proposal, shared the magical moments with their fans alongside clips from the proposal. In the footage, both MGK and Fox were seen standing beneath a tree (which has special meaning in their relationship) as the rapper dropped down on one knee to pop the big question. 

Ecstatic by the question, the actress also dropped to her knees to accept the proposal and happily shared kisses and hugs with the man of her dreams. 

Captioning the clip, she wrote, "In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree – We asked for magic–We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time. Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the Karma."

She further revealed, "Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him."

She excitedly added, "And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes…and then we drank each other's blood." It is, however, unclear if the last line was a joke or if it actually happened.

The "Bloody Valentine" rapper also posted his own footage from the big day and opened up in the caption, revealing, "'Yes, in this life and every life' ? beneath the same branches we fell in love under, I brought her back to ask her to marry me."

He added, writing, "I know the tradition is one ring, but I designed it with Stephen Webster to be two: the emerald (her birthstone) and the diamond (my birthstone) set on two magnetic bands of thorns that draw together as two halves of the same soul forming the obscure heart that is our love."

The rapper's attention to detail and the smooth execution of the engagement proposal won the heart of many fans, and it seems the Houston native is not oblivious to the grand gesture he pulled off.

As reported, the dad of one patted himself on the back and bragged about the ring he got his now fiancée during a sit-down chat with Vogue.

He revealed that the massive engagement ring was free from any treatment whatsoever as it was gotten "straight out of the mine" and carved into a teardrop, nothing more. He also gave credit to Stephen Webster, a renowned British jewelry designer, for sourcing the ring.

He also added that the emerald part of the ring was a 'thoroughbred Colombia emerald and that "the concept is that the ring can come apart to make two rings." However, "when it's together, it's held in place by a magnet."
