Demi Rose doubled it up today – one from the front, one from the back. The 25-year-old model and social media sensation dropped stunning photos for her Friday update, with the scenic and idyllic ocean views coming from The Maldives.
Demi, followed by 14.8 million on her Instagram, has been ramping up the swimwear ever since she landed in the exotic destination earlier this month, with updates even showing the bevy of model gal pals joining her. Today was solo. Zero complaints in the comments section. Check it out below.
Scroll for the photos. Demi, whose 24-inch waist is sandwiched by the curviest bust and hips around, had posted in a sizzling zebra-print swimsuit while taking in ocean vistas. The Birmingham, U.K. native, initially seen from the front, showed it all off – hips, waist, and, with a swipe to the right, a very cheeky thong.
The captions tend to add a little pizzazz with Demi. This one, also bringing a Cinnamon Veifushi Maldives geo-tag, reminded fans that Demi holds a partner status with affordable clothing giant Fashion Nova.
Keep scrolling for the second shot and more. Demi, even throwing in a shades emoji to match the statement ones she was wearing, wrote:
“Shades on so they can’t steal the vision ? @fashionnova FashionNovaPartner.
Demi doesn’t take long to rake in the likes, with today bringing in over 100,000 of them in under 45 minutes. If you think fans don’t notice the captions, think again.
“Shades can’t steal the vision but you stole my heart???,” one fan replied.
Demi’s post, coming from the 5-star Cinnamon Velifushi Hotel, might have been high-end, but it isn’t all Dior stripper boots for this model – and Demi grew up very working class in Sutton Coldfield, England.
Demi’s influencing for Fashion Nova is likely a decent cash-earner for her. The model tends not to #ad her posts, but with a clear influencer status, the disclaimer doesn’t appear necessary amid Instagram’s otherwise-stringent rules. Pay on the ‘Gram correlates with following, something that experts at Vox have thrown out suggested figures for.
“Influencers with up to 1 million followers can get $10,000 [per post], depending on the platform, and 1 million followers and up, you’re getting into territory where they can charge $100,000. Some can even get $250,000 for a post!”
Demi is fresh from making major headlines after deciding to quit the U.K. for good. The model was hunkered down in London for most of the pandemic, then jetting out to Ibiza, Spain for what turned out to be both a permanent move and, per Demi, the “best decision” she ever made. Demi spoke to ES saying that the Spanish sun was the “perfect backdrop” for her modeling career.
It isn’t all swings and roundabouts, though. Demi, this year revealing she was abused as a child and bullied at school, continues to mourn the loss of both parents passing just eight months apart.
