Claire Danes left the public speechless with her amazing maternity fit at the 2023 Golden Globes Awards. The actress took to the red carpet to show off her baby bump in a beautiful white dress shortly after announcing her third child with husband Hugh Dancy.
Danes, who rose to fame from starring in the 1994 teen show "My So-Called Life," announced her first child Cyrus with the actor in 2012 after their wedding in France in 2009. The sweethearts then welcomed their second child Rowan in 2018.
The star, who had a Golden Globe nomination that night, revealed that her pregnancy wasn't "intentional." This comes after she previously gushed about her marriage and how she met Dancy but also admitted how stressful it was to be pregnant.

Claire Danes Stuns In A White Dress After Announcing Baby No. 3
Claire Danes walked the red carpet with her baby bump on Tuesday after confirming to People magazine the day before that she was pregnant with baby number 3. While the 43-year-old previously shared two kids with Dancy, she revealed to actor and reality star Mario Lopez that it was "not intentional, but here we go!"
Nonetheless, the star who earned a spot on the "Best Performance By an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Limited Series, Anthology Series of Motion Picture Made" nominations list for her 2022 film "Fleishman Is In Trouble," rocked an embroidered flowery white dress with a fringe at the bottom.
The dress also had a pink bow on Danes' chest, with silver straps that went down her back. The star, who has won four Awards out of five Golden Globe nominations, has had almost a three-decade-long acting career and even found love on set.
She Met Her Husband On Set
The "It's All About Love" star and the "Law and Order" actor met on the set of the 2006 film "Evening" before getting married three years later. She opened up to Marie Claire in 2017 about how they decided to get married. At the time, she was "recently single," and they were just friends. "I had never been single before," she said.
She also recalled a time when they were together "in Rhode Island when it was at its most audaciously beautiful, in the fall," and she felt genuinely happy with him. "I just had this dumb epiphany, like, 'I'm really just happy.'" On Dancy's part, he noted that the two got together when they were both single and thinking of "jumping back into another relationship" even though Danes had "just come out of one."
"It was kind of in the moment [when] she was single, I was single, and we were both clearly thinking about it," he said on a May 2020 episode of SiriusXM's The Michelle Collins Show. The star also recalled that Danes was confused about whether to get into a new relationship so quickly.
Claire Danes Gushed About Their Marriage
The "Romeo + Juliet" star shouted out the love of her life while collecting her Lead Actress in a Drama Series Emmy Award for her performance in the now eight-seasons-long thriller series "Homeland."
As she thanked her friends and family for supporting her, she referred to Dancy as "my husband, my love, my life, my baby daddy." The couple then welcomed their first child Cyrus three months after in 2012, before birthing Rowan six years later in August 2018.
Claire Danes' First Pregnancy Wasn't Easy
The "Essex Serpent" star previously recalled to US Weekly how difficult things were when she first got pregnant with Cyrus. She recounted working until a month before the due date and barely having enough time to rest. However, she was very excited to have her second child and looked forward to growing the family.
Danes also revealed how happy she was to have some free time from work. "Pretty soon I get to retire for a little while and just be pregnant, which I look forward to." She added, "This feels like a huge gift." "It feels like a huge luxury …to have a chance to kick my feet up a little bit."
She first broke the news during an April episode of Howard Stern's SiriusXM radio show, noting that the pregnancy was planned. Danes said, "We've been wanting another kid for a while, and it happened."
