Meghan King's Ex Jim Edmonds Says He Wasn't Informed Of Son's Cerebral Palsy

Former “Real Housewives of Orange County” star Meghan King’s ex-husband Jim Edmonds says he was not informed of their son’s cerebral palsy diagnosis until she announced it to the world.
Jim's rep, Steve Honig, tells The Blast, “Jim is unaware of any such diagnosis and, if it is even true, it is completely unconscionable and absolutely disgraceful that Meghan would announce this on social media without discussing it with him first.”
Earlier this week, Meghan posted an Instagram video on World Cerebral Palsy Day. She said her 2-year-old son Hart was diagnosed this week with a form of Cerebral Palsy.
Meghan wrote, “Happy World CP Day. Today, my blog post announced that Hart was officially diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy yesterday, and as fate would have it, today is World Cerebral Palsy Day so I felt called to share his experience and my experience with you all in order to hopefully normalize this diagnosis.”
She continued, ”Something I’ve learned is that a diagnosis isn’t limiting, people are. We are all born beautiful and perfect and then we learn we are too fat, too short, too ugly, too inept, too… everything. We place others in boxes dependent on their labels and we unconsciously allow ourselves to live within those boxes: woman, college graduate, high-school dropout, professional athlete, Cerebral Palsy."
She ended, "I am choosing to celebrate what makes Hart different and raise my children with the encouragement to live their lives out loud and to never let their differences limit or define them. So today we CELEBRATE World Cerebral Palsy Day.”
Jim and Meghan are still in the middle of a nasty divorce battle. As The Blast previously reported, last year, Jim filed the divorce from Meghan following 5 years of marriage. They share three kids together: Aspen, Hart and Hayes. Sources say Meghan has been contesting the prenuptial agreement the couple signed before their marriage.
During a recent mediation, Meghan allegedly demanded an extra $1 million dollars and said she would be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Sources tell The Blast, during the recent settlement talks, Meghan demanded a lump sum payment 10x higher than what was agreed to in the prenuptial agreement. During negotiations, we’re told Meghan said she would be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which would prevent her from talking about the marriage if she received $1 million from Jim.
At one point, Meghan allegedly referenced possibly writing a Tell-All about her life which could obviously include her divorce from Jim. The mediation did not resolve anything and the case is moving forward.
Meghan and Jim got married back in October 2014. She would join the cast of “Real Housewives of Orange County” in 2015. The two appeared on the reality show from season 10-12.
