'RHOBH' Star Teddi Mellencamp Hangs With Dad John Mellencamp After Firing

Former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Teddi Mellencamp was spotted hanging with her famous father John Mellencamp days after being axed by Bravo.
Teddi shared a video on her social media showing her family board a private jet. She then shared a snap of her father hugging her daughter Slate. She wrote, “One of these two turns 8 tomorrow. the other turns 69 Weds. Can you guess which one is which?”
The ex-“RHOBH” star seems to be enjoying family time following the news she won’t be returning to Bravo.
Last month, Daily Mail broke the story, the network was set to fire Teddi after three seasons. A source told the outlet, “The network has not been impressed with her performance on the show. They considered cutting her last season but gave her one last chance.”
They added, “She is boring and stale and does not offer anything to the franchise with her robotic and staged delivery when interacting with the other cast members. The issue is, the other cast members don’t particularly like her and beyond Kyle, no one is friends with her.”
The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star confirmed the news on her Instagram page. Teddi released a video where she spoke directly to her fans. She said, “I don’t want to BORE you, but I figured I could give you a little update on what’s going on. I recently found out that my contract as a Housewives is not being renewed.”
Teddi continued, “of course, I could give you the standard response of “we both came to the decision that it would be best”, nah, I’m not going to do that. That’s not who I am. Of course, when I got the news, I was sad. It feels like a breakup almost because you develop such strong relationships with the cast and crew. You get to do incredible things that you probably never get to experience without the show.”
She ended, “that being said I’m really looking forward to the future. And being able to focus on my family, my friends, All In. I really feel like I have some exciting things ahead. Thanks for coming along on this journey with me. And I’ll see you soon.”
As The Blast previously reported, last month, the reality star started catching heat from former clients of her company All In By Teddi. Many claimed the diet was dangerous and had them on very restrictive diets.
A rep for Teddi told The Blast, “All In has always made the safety and wellbeing of our clients our top priority, and while we certainly encourage feedback as part of our efforts to constantly improve, we strongly object to these claims that our methods and practices were the cause of any of these alleged issues."
They added, "Our approach involves around a daily intake of 1100-1200 calories, similar to many other popular (and safe) wellness programs, to help our clients jumpstart a pattern of cleaner eating and more exercise. It has been especially upsetting to hear of recent complaints, many which directly contradict the gratitude, appreciation and enthusiasm expressed during their time with us, but we will continue moving forward focusing on how we can best serve our clients.”
