Kaley Cuoco's morning alarm went off painfully early today. The "Big Bang Theory" actress, known for her early bird ways, was up long before the crack of dawn on Tuesday as she sleepily updated her Instagram stories at 4.49 a.m. Kaley, 34, has been up before the sun all month as she continues her NYC shooting stint – Kaley is in the Big Apple to complete filming upcoming HBO Max series "The Flight Attendant," also joined by 31-year-old sister Briana Cuoco and chihuahua Dumptruck Dumpy. Check out the latest below.

Scroll for a snippet from the story. Kaley, who is in NYC for two months and recently accidentally set her alarm for P.M. instead of A.M., had not messed up this time. The sitcom star, writing a giant "NO" at the 4.49 a.m. time-stamp was fresh out the shower. Kaley appeared in selfie mode and wearing a skimpy white t-shirt and a head towel fast-tracking her hair-drying process, plus visible eye cream.
"COFFEE," Kaley wrote as a speech bubble coming out her head – the gorgeous, makeup-free face was very much not a "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" deal.

Keep scrolling for more photos, including a snap from "The Flight Attendant" as Kaley shot on Italy's cobbled streets before the pandemic. The girl behind Penny did not appear in the best of moods, despite looking clear-skinned and beautiful. The "A Cup of Cuoco" host, whose Instagram series documents her first coffee of the day, did, however, happily glug hers down. Kaley, who fronted Starbucks in promos this year, has called herself a "coffee connoisseur," but she needs the morning beverage to "burn" her foodpipe to enjoy it.

If you last saw Kaley as Penny on "Big Bang," there's a major update coming. "The Flight Attendant," which sees Kaley both starring and as executive producer, brings thriller vibes as Kaley plays Cassandra Bowden. Her character kicks the series off by waking up hungover in a Dubai hotel room, only to find a dead body lying next to her.
"The Flight Attendant" had shot six out of eight episodes prior to the pandemic pause, with recent paparazzi photos showing tense scenes as Kaley's character is held at gunpoint on NYC streets.

Kaley has been opening up on her new role, a far cry from the ditzy-yet-streetsmart Penny across the hall on "BBT."
"When I read the book description, I got a chill down my arms. It felt like a good mix of drama and dark comedy. Plus, a complicated female character is a dream role," she told UsWeekly, continuing:
"I love making people laugh, but it’s been an incredible experience working my dramatic muscles."
Kaley's Instagram, followed by 6.1 million, has been documenting the filming, including the pandemic-safe masks. Kaley working out indoors in a mask, however, well, that's a different story.
