Ciara is showing up for her husband, Russell Wilson, after a tough first season with his new NFL team Denver Broncos.

The professional football player had suffered a backlash after his team ended their season with 12 losses and just five wins, a far cry from what he hoped for when he got traded to the Broncos from the Seattle Seahawks early last year. In light of that, his wife is showing her support and encouraging him to focus on their future.

Russell Wilson Remains A Winner To Ciara Despite His Poor Football Performance

Longtime fans of Ciara have become accustomed to seeing her eulogizing her friends regardless of the situation— good or bad. The "Like A Boy" hitmaker proved that her husband enjoyed the same grace when she shared a post praising him for keeping his "faith, belief, and confidence" throughout his first season in Denver.

Ciara pieced together random clips from her life as a footballer's wife, showing how she and their children — Sienna Princess, Win, and Future Zahir — supported Wilson during the season. The mashup in Ciara's Instagram reel featured the kids donning their dad's team jersey, enjoying ice cream swirls with their mom, and playing with both parents.

The video also showed the Super Bowl-winning quarterback signing autographs, arriving in the locker room with his travel bag and big water bottle, and his family cheering for him from the sidelines during the season.

Ciara's caption was a bit more emotional as she admitted that she was unsure "where to start with what I want to say, as this season has been a roller coaster ride like no other." She then wrote:

"I've watched you endure so much and keep your head up high through it all! Your faith, belief, and confidence never wavered."

The "Body Party" singer attested to hearing "a lot of things people said you're not," but had opted to keep seeing her man as a winner who "gets back up when they're knocked down, some one who doesn't stop believing. Someone who embraces adversity and stays neutral through it all."

For her, Wilson fit the bill of somebody who could not be "influenced by the words or opinions of others" and loved "loving others, serving others, and is always there for his family. All of that you are! You're always Winning!"

Ciara would remain "so proud" of her beau in his capacity as a "husband, father, and man." The singer concluded that she was "truly grateful to be on the beautiful journey of Greatness" with Wilson despite the season not being exactly how he "envisioned and wanted it to be, but I have no doubt the best is ahead! Keep being you #3!"

The tribute warmed the hearts of her followers, who promptly gave it nearly 120k likes and hundreds of comments. In fact, one person wrote, "And there it is. You said everything that needed to be said and so eloquently. I am all in on Russell's 2023 Broncos revenge season. The last 2 games showed that he is still that Quarterback."

“He knows who he is and people in his life know who he is, also his true supporters know that Russ is a WINNER!” another chimed in.

Per ESPN, Wilson himself addressed his abysmal performance when he stated, "You're trying to find that magic. I know that I feel like I fell short of my own standards and my own level of expectations. I just want to recapture that."

The 'Better Thangs' Singer Celebrates Wilson's 34th Birthday In Style

The Blast reported that when Wilson turned 34 last November, Ciara got the ball rolling with a classy photo set of her and the celebrant in matching black outfits. Set to the tunes of Mary J. Blige's "Everything," the singer wore a high-slit dress, thigh-high boots, and an oversized fur coat.

Meanwhile, her man radiated in a white undershirt, a two-piece suit, a bow tie, and shiny dress shoes. The picture set moved from the lovebirds almost kissing to them staring deadpan at the camera. Behind them was a grand piano which Wilson leaned against at some point.

"Intelligent, Beautiful, Loving, Caring, Thoughtful, Consistent, Special, Anointed, Rare, A Legend, a Winner, Everything that is YOU!" the mother-of-three began in her heartfelt caption. Continuing, Ciara fawned about her love for her king, whom she was "so proud" to celebrate "today and everyday."
