In her W Magazine interview, the "X-Men: Apocalypse" actress recalled a time when she felt starstruck meeting a fellow celebrity. She admitted that encountering Ariana Grande was very exciting. "I was photographed with her and I fully look like a radio contest winner," she said.

However, Lawrence would give anything to meet Jessica Simpson. "I would be starstruck if I saw Jessica Simpson," she said, adding that it "would knock me over."

While Lawrence didn't expand on the reason behind her love for the business mogul, she is known to be very open about how much she enjoys watching reality TV, and Simpson, at one point, had an incredibly successful TV show with her ex-husband, Nick Lachey.

In a previous interview with Oprah Winfrey, the "Don't Look Up" star revealed her love for reality TV. In response to Oprah's question on which three stars she would like to go out with, she said per People magazine, "Scott Disick [from 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'], Luann [de Lesseps] from 'Real Housewives of New York,' Bethenny Frankel."

The actress added, "And I'm not proud of that, but that's what comes from my heart." Following this, her love for Simpson makes a lot of sense, as she dominated the reality TV space in the early 2000s. She starred with her ex-husband, Lachey, on "Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica" during their marriage from 2002 to 2006.

The "Mother" star got the opportunity to be featured on a 2009 episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" through a FaceTime call. Kourtney Kardashian's partner at the time, Scott Disick, tried to reach Kris Jenner, but Lawrence picked up instead and answered, "I'm the new Kris," as everyone burst into laughter.

However, Disick respectfully noted that he really needed to speak to the Kardashian matron. "Not that you're not very famous and beautiful, but could I talk to Kris?"

Jenner and Lawrence were together at a private hangout when the actress clapped back and joked, "We wouldn't be having this much fun if you guys were here." This retort made the Kardashian sisters, Kourtney and Khloe, burst out laughing.

Lawrence is set to feature in the coming-of-age comedy film, "No Hard Feelings," scheduled to premiere in June 2023. The actress will produce and star in the movie alongside Andrew Barth Feldman, Natalie Morales, and Matthew Broderick. The film, directed and co-written by Gene Stupnitsky, follows Lawrence as a good-for-nothing who gets hired by a wealthy couple to become friends with their socially awkward child.

Apart from her upcoming role, Lawrence also recently endorsed the "Hunger Games" prequel "The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes," also set to premiere later this year. While she will not be joining the cast, she told reporters at the 2022 International Film Festival in Toronto that the movie would turn out great.

She said, "Oh, and the prequel? You guys are going to have the best time. Just have fun — don't worry about anything." The upcoming film will follow Coriolanus Snow's journey from a young boy to becoming president of Panem.
