Logan Paul is NOT a bad pet owner… so says Logan himself.

On Monday, January 9th, an animal rescue organization, Gentle Barn, shared a TikTok video of a massive pig named Pearl. She was once owned by YouTuber and entrepreneur, Logan.

Sadly, she was found in very bad shape by Gentle Barn.

Pearl was found abandoned in a field next to a dead pig. She had torn and tattered ears in addition to a potentially-life threatening infection.

Many people on social media recognized the pig from Logan’s social media.

GB’s TikTok video showed Pearl being transported in a cage from where she was found into her new home at the animal sanctuary.

Animal Rescue & Sanctuary Picks Up Pearl In Horrid Condition

“Peal was found alone in a field next to another pig who had passed away. She came to us with tattered ears and a potentially life-threatening infection in her uterus that has since been healed. She’s clearly been through a lot of trauma that we can’t begin to imagine, but now she’s safe with us at Gentle Barn. From what we’ve been told, it’s believed she was purchased originally from a breeder by an influencer,” the caption read. “People often by ‘mini pigs’ or ‘teacup pigs’ for clout online, believing they will stay small. When they inevitably grow very large and have many unexpected needs, they’re sadly discarded.”

This is true for Logan, because she previously shared a photo of him and Pearl with the caption, “I bought Pearl over a year ago. I was told she was a mini pig… she’s not.”

Gentle Barn’s captioned continued, “While we don’t know everything she’s been through in her past, we know her life is now filled with friends, nutritious foods, the highest quality care, and so much love.”

Logan has broken his silence and insists he DID NOT leave Pearl in bad condition. In fact, he claims he rehomed her over two years ago.

Basically, he’s wiping his hands clean of any liability.

TMZobtained an email Logan sent Gentle Barn.

It reads, “It was just brought to my attention that a pig I owned nearly two years ago, Pearl, was rescued and rehomed by your organization. With every ounce of gratitude I have,  thank you.”

He explained that Pearl lived happily at his Encino home and was given a healthy diet, bathed regularly, and had shelter.

“When I moved to Puerto Rico inn April of 2020, she was unable to come with me, so she was rehomed at a horse ranch in Santa Clarita. From my understanding, she lived fruitfully there for about 10 months until that homeowner moved, as well. Pearl was then rehomed to the farmer across the street with the promise of care. I’ve heard that he called your organization to pick her up,” his email continued.

Logan goes on to say it is “heartbreaking” to hear the state she was found, that is why he wanted to personally reach out to GB.

“For what it’s worth, I’d love to send a token of my gratitude to your organization for taking Pearl in and doing something so kind. I thought she was at a good home, but regardless, she is now and I’d like to contribute to her care again,” his email concluded.
