Ariana Madix Jokes About Being Pregnant Amid 'Vanderpump Rules' Baby Boom

Ariana Madix shared a message with her fans and followers on Instagram Sunday night in which she joked about being the fourth pregnant cast member of "Vanderpump Rules."

On the heels of pregnancy announcements from Stassi Schroeder, Lala Kent, and Brittany Cartwright, Ariana took to her Instagram Stories, where she posted an image in which she was cradling her belly and told fans she was "not pregnant just bloated and starved for attention."

Right away, Ariana was faced with backlash from fans.

While Ariana, who has been dating Tom Sandoval for the past several years, was trying to be funny when she shared her post, viaUs Weekly, a number of her fans and followers weren't happy about the post, which prompted Ariana to share a second post.

"Some of y’all are completely devoid of humor and think everything is ‘shade’ but I guess I got that attention I was desperate for anyway," she wrote in the second message. "BTW it’s a bean and cheese burrito and Del Taco is the father."

In December 2018, Ariana spoke about her future with Tom, who she purchased a house with last year, during an interview with Us Weekly. And, at the time, she admitted the two of them will probably never get engaged.

“It’s not on the agenda for us,” she shared. “I feel like I have way too much stuff I’ve got to do, you know? I’ve got to travel the world, I’ve got to be a successful businesswoman, I’ve got to put out a series of cocktail books. I gotta go to outer space. I want to go to outer space so bad.”

Earlier that same year, Tom said that when it comes to children, he hopes to one day adopt. 

“There are so many times I’ve said that I would never do this or I never want this, but I’ve changed my mind. I’m not saying that I definitely have to have kids. I mean, we could possibly adopt. I don’t wanna be raising a kid in my sh–ty apartment [so] we need to get a house first,” he told Us Weekly at the time.

During her own interview with Us Weekly, Lala said that when it comes to the future, she's hoping to see Katie Maloney announce a pregnancy sooner rather than later. 

“She better [get pregnant]. We’re waiting on her. The thing with Katie is, she’s so chill. Like when she’s ready, she’ll get it popping,” Lala explained.

Lala's fiance, Randall Emmett, then added that he was “confident” Katie's husband, Tom Schwartz, would deliver by “January at the latest.”

No word yet on when the "Vanderpump Rules" cast will go into production on the series' upcoming eighth season.
