Ireland Baldwin's "Chainsaw Massacre" period is not one the model wished to revisit this weekend – even if she did mention it in her caption. The 24-year-old daughter to Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger updated her Instagram on Saturday night with two very eye-catching and rather revealing roadside snaps complete with an announcement. Ireland is fronting Shop Proof sanitary wear, with her post showing her pumped to be working with "such a bad-ss brand." The blonde beauty, recently in the news for celebrating six years free of anorexia and buimia, also wore Converse sneakers, flashing her black panties and hip tattoo as she ran amid a deserted highway road.

A caption from Ireland announced her partnership with the "leak-free" underwear brand, with the model calling periods "such a pain in the -ss," also recalling her first one.

Saying she doesn't use tampons, Ireland then recalled her own first menstruation:

"When I got my first period, I was inside a Victoria Secret with a group of school friends. I was trying on the sexy holiday outfits when suddenly I took the Santa outfit off and realized that I Texas Chainsaw Massacre-ed all over the place."

It's worth remembering that comments on Ireland's Instagram can very much go either way. The model, this summer slammed for her green tea-reccing "period bloat" rant, was, however, supported by her followers here. A fan calling the post "awesome" said that "these kind of ads make me actually want to but the products."

Ireland abided by Instagram's rules – the paid partnership was clearly announced. Pay on the platform directly correlates with following, something that experts at Vox have offered potential figures for.

"Influencers with up to 1 million followers can get $10,000 [per post], depending on the platform, and 1 million followers and up, you’re getting into territory where they can charge $100,000. Some can even get $250,000 for a post!"

While relatively modest, Ireland's following is creeping up. She's gained approximately 12,000 followers over the past few weeks.
