Rinna Officially Closes The ‘RHOBH’ Chapter Of Her Life After Explosive Season
Rinna’s time on the series came to an end following the expiration of her contract with Bravo, People reported last night.
Her exit from the series comes a few months after the conclusion of the series’ twelfth season. Rinna would take issue with the series a number of times while season 12 was airing, and she would also go head-to-head with several cast members.
She faced criticism for her behavior following the reunion episode airing in October. Andy Cohen would question Rinna about the emotional rollercoaster behavior she displayed on camera during the season, and she would attribute her mother’s death as being the catalyst. (via The Blast)
Former cast member Denise Richards would call Rinna out via Instagram for her behavior.
“I WATCHED #RHOBH LAST NIGHT. WHILE I HAVE EMPATHY FOR LISA RINNA LOSING HER MOM, WHAT IS HER EXCUSE ALL THE OTHER YEARS ON THE SHOW FOR BEING SO CRUEL & VINDICTIVE?” Richards asked.
Rinna also spoke out about her irritation over how her mother’s passing in November of 2021 would be portrayed on the show.
“I’m shocked we spent 3 episodes on the word ‘dark,’ but only a few scenes on real human grief,” Rinna would write in an Instagram story in July.
She and Kathy Hilton would memorably clash during the aforementioned reunion. Hilton would call Rinna “the biggest bully in Hollywood,” and her statement was teased in trailers for several weeks before the reunion aired.
“You fight with everybody,” Hilton would tell Rinna. “What you did to my sister [former cast member Kim Richards], and you drove Lisa Vanderpump off the show. “I mean, the list can go on and on.” (per The Blast)
