The 40-year-old actress, singer, author, and clothing designer updated her account ahead of the weekend with a giant reminder that her bombshell body hasn’t gone anywhere – likewise, the hard-hitter’s business edge.

Jessica continues to make weight-related headlines – while her birthday photos saw her called “way too skinny” as fans thought the star had taken the weight loss too far, Jessica herself has been speaking out on the whittled-down frame. Formerly stating that she tipped the scales at 240 pounds, Simpson has since admitted that she was closer to 300 pounds: “In the high two hundreds,” Jessica told Hollywood Life this year.

“She would eat one whole egg and three egg whites for breakfast, scrambled with a bowl of blackberries. For lunch she would have a salad with grilled chicken and grilled fish with salad and vegetables for dinner. As for snacks, she would have almonds and sometimes green beans with Parmesan cheese on top. She was very disciplined.”
