Offset is having a rough day after Cardi B filed for divorce and the news went public. While many would think this would be a time of sympathy for the rapper, especially after Cardi wants full custody of their daughter, fans seem to be laying into the Migos rapper and trolling him for the split rather than offering any consolation.

The filing by the "WAP" singer comes on the heels of their reconciliation following Offset being unfaithful, and although neither star has addressed the split this time, it feels like the same story all over again.

One day before Cardi B filed for divorce, Offset took to Instagram to share a forlorn photo of himself, along with the caption, "I miss my granny," in reference to the late Sallie Ann Smith. Grandma Ann died of bladder cancer in 2012, and Offset has spoken about the impact she had on his life growing up.

"She was my daddy. She was the go-to person. If I was in trouble with my mama, I’d go to my grandma, and she always got my back if I’m wrong or right," Offset said during a fundraiser event from a few years back.

Although Offset was already in a sad mood thinking about his late grandmother, many online trolls took the opportunity to kick the rapper while he was down.

"Now you about to miss your wife," one fan wrote in response to Offset's tribute to his grandmother.

"NO MORE WAP FOR U," another fan wrote, referencing Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's hit song, "WAP."

"Get ready to be hit with that child support," a third fan wrote, while others also lit up the comments to revel in Offset's misery.

Cardi B and Offset have had their ups and downs, and in a recent issue of Elle magazine, the rapper talked about the drama in their relationship.

"There's always rumors about me and my husband, and I feel like people would rather start rumors because they want me to be heartbroken," she told the magazine.

Cardi B added, "They want me to be hurt. I do know that my relationship has a lot of drama and everything. But there's a lot of love, there's a lot of passion, there's a lot of trust, there's a big friendship. It's always us against the world."

Cardi B has been real about the drama between her and Offset, especially after she took the Migos rapper back following a cheating scandal. Taking to social media, Cardi B addressed the criticism head-on:

"When me and my husband got into our issues—you know, he cheated and everything—and I decided to stay with him and work together with him, a lot of people were so mad at me; a lot of women felt disappointed in me ... But it's real-life s—. If you love somebody and you stop being with them, and you're depressed and social media is telling you not to talk to that person because he cheated, you're not really happy on the inside until you have the conversation."

Cardi B added, "Then, if you get back with them, it's like, how could you? You let all of us down."
