The "Cougar Town" alum took time to retrospectively look at the just-ended year of 2022, saying that although it was filled with its share of sad turns, she didn't die after all.

Philipps captioned a security video of a terrifying accident involving her, "2022, you broke my fucking heart in multiple ways, but at least you didn't kill me." She added, "Here's to 2023!"

The actress could be seen in the video wearing a silver sequin dress, a black jacket, and boots as she walked her dog, Gina, outside her New York apartment. Suddenly, she slid on the front stoop and fell to the ground before hitting the pavement.

The video proof follows Philipps' podcast episode from last October, "Busy Almost Died!," in which she described the mind-blowing experience.

Busy Philipps Pointed Out That She Was Sober

Whether or not external forces were responsible for the fall is not known, but one thing is for sure: Philipps wasn't drunk.

In the second part of her caption, she expressed her shock at the turn of the event but was grateful for not injuring herself, deeming it a miracle.

"Please enjoy this video of me miraculously tumbling down the front stoop in October and not injuring myself at all (also, just FYI, I was sober). Listeners of the pod, this is for you and our collective light teams," the "Girls5eva" actress wrote.

After the fall, from which she emerged uninjured, she fixed her hair before reaching for her phone to text her ex-husband, Marc Silverstein, who was inside with their children.

Philipps shares two daughters with Silverstein: Birdie, 14, and Cricket, 9.

Back when she first described the accident on her podcast, the "Freaks and Geeks" actress jokingly compared the horrendous experience to the popular fake Jason Derulo meme that depicts a man in a suit at the Met Gala falling down the steps.

"That is literally in my head what was happening. I was flying … when I landed on the sidewalk, I was like, looking up at the trees, and I was like, 'How am I not dead?'" she narrated, per the New York Post.

Philipps also said that she was relieved with how things turned out because dying that way would have been pointless.

"I'm not gonna f***ing die falling down stairs, I can't. What a bummer. It's not for me," she added.
