Sharon Osbourne Reveals Her New Grandson's Identity
Fans got to hear about the exciting news on an episode of the British chat show "Talk TV UK" on Tuesday, where the “Extreme” author made an appearance.
The British TV personality revealed that Kelly welcomed a baby boy, giving her a grandson. Osbourne disclosed that the little boy was named Sidney, taking after his father's name.
The 70-year-old grandma also shared her daughter’s experience as a first-time mom, and the matriarch gushed, "So great, so great. She won't let a picture go out of him, and I'm so proud of her.”
Although the former “X-factor” judge didn't disclose the baby's birth month, Kelly previously seemingly gave a hint that she had gone into labor when she posted a cryptic message to her Instagram Stories. At the time, she wrote, "OK, here we go," on a black backdrop. And has since then been mute on social media.
Fans would recall that the “Dancing With The Stars” alum was ecstatic when she broke the news of her pregnancy. As reported by The Blast, the model made the announcement with snaps of herself smiling while holding a sonogram.
Captioning the post, the actress noted her happiness over this new addition to her family. She wrote, “I know that I have been very quiet these past few months so I thought I would share with you all as to why I am over the moon to announce that I am going to be a Mumma.”
Concluding the caption, she penned, “To say that I am happy does not quite cut it. I am ecstatic!”
As expected, several of her fans shared her excitement, and so did the Osbourne clan. The matriarch reposted the adorable images alongside a caption that read, “My joy could not be more full! So excited to share the beautiful journey ahead with you.”
Also, Jack shared the image captioning it, “And the tribe gets bigger. Congratulations @Kellyosbourne.”
Kelly Osbourne Talks About Judgement She Faced Concerning Her Breastfeeding Plans
After her pregnancy news, the “One Word” singer got candid about her choice not to breastfeed while on an episode of “Red Table Talk” with Jada Pinkett Smith and Adrienne Banfield Norris.
Kelly, while on the show, revealed that her previous appearance on the Facebook show changed her life. In her words, “Coming on this show the last time helped me in my life so much it’s gonna make me cry. Because I got honest, I felt safe. From there, I decided to go back to treatment, and it changed my life in every way, and now all my dreams are coming true.”
The conversation between the women then progressed to Osbourne's pregnancy. The 37-year-old dished all the difficulties of pregnancy, saying it “is one of the most weirdest thing.”
The “So Undercover” star further disclosed one of her major worries concerning her motherhood journey. According to the singer, there was a 75 percent chance she would suffer from postpartum depression, given her history with alcohol. Expressing her concern, Osbourne said, “So it’s something that’s a genuine fear for me.”
The “Changes” singer decided to stay on her medication, and as a result, she would be unable to breastfeed her baby. However, the “Disconnected” singer received some criticism from her friends and extended family, who told her she was going to miss out on the mother-and-child bonding period.
Osbourne noted that her decision was best for both her and her child. In her words, “But what kind of mother am I going to be if I start going backwards, if I start being self-destructive and it’s something for me that I’m learning that I can’t pay attention, it has to be what’s best for me and what’s best for my baby.”
