Ozzy Osbournehas experienced several medical emergencies in recent years, and it's taken a toll on his physical appearance. The rockstar was recently spotted going grocery shopping and looked frail and almost unrecognizable as he leaned on a walking stick and female assistant.

Ozzy's sighting comes after his wife Sharon Osbourne was released from a Californian hospital after being rushed for a medical emergency. The TV personality was in the middle of a shooting when the incident occurred, and it's been confirmed it was non-life threatening. For many years, Ozzy has suffered from various medical conditions, such as his Parkinson's diagnosis in 2003.

He has also had multiple surgeries on his neck and back after suffering a bad home fall and a severe ATV accident 16 years ago. Despite the numerous medical issues, the rockstar still plans to recover quickly and go back on tour. He recently released his 13th solo studio album, titled "Patient Number 9."

According to The Sun, Ozzy was recently spotted grocery shopping for himself and Sharon at the celebrity famous Erewhon Market, which is close to his home. The iconic rock star was left in charge of their home and grocery shopping after Sharon's recent medical emergency.

The 74-year-old reportedly looked very frail as he headed to the market and leaned on both a walking stick and a female assistant to move around the store. The "Crazy Train" singer wore a long tartan coat over an all-black tracksuit and black trainers and spotted messy chin-length gray hair.

Sharon Osbourne Recently Had A Medical Emergency

Ozzy's sighting at the market comes shortly after his wife Sharon was rushed to a Californian hospital. According to The New York Post, the TV personality was shooting at the Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula when the undisclosed medical emergency occurred.

A source confirmed to the news outlet that the incident was "non-life threatening," and Sharon's son has since confirmed that his mother has been released from the hospital and is recovering. 

The 70-year-old took to social media in the days after her hospitalization to confirm that she'd returned home and was "doing great." Still, she is yet to disclose the cause of the medical emergency.

Ozzy Osbourne Has Had Several Medical Issues

Over the past decade, Ozzy has suffered from various medical conditions. In early 2020, he publicly shared details about his battle with Parkinson's disease and confirmed that he'd been diagnosed in 2003. The battle has now left him reliant on a walking stick or assistance for mobility and suffering from speech issues.

The prince of darkness has also dealt with alcohol and substance abuse problems, which have landed him in the hospital several times. Ozzy has also had multiple surgeries to fix injuries in his neck and back. These injuries were caused by a bad fall in his home and an ATV accident 16 years ago that caused severe damage.

The rockstar's latest surgery was in June, when doctors removed and realigned pins in his neck and back. He also recently caught COVID-19, which caused serious fear in his family and friends for his life. Thankfully, Ozzy has managed to pull through each healthcare.

The Rockstar Still Wants To Go Back On Tour

Despite his extensive medical issues and mobility problems, Ozzy has stated in several interviews that he still has plans to make more music and go back on tour. During a September interview with People magazine, the Black Sabbath frontman spoke about his future on the road.

He said, "It's where I belong. The relationship I have with my audience is the biggest love affair of my life. I am determined to get back on stage even if I have to be nailed to a board and wheeled on. Survival is my legacy."

Ozzy recently performed at the Commonwealth Games but needed a back brace for support during his performance. The rockstar's return to the stage after over three years has given him hope that he'll soon be strong enough to get back on tour, especially with the release of his 13th solo studio album, "Patient Number 9."
