Tom Brady has joined the list of celebrities to send well wishes to Buffalo Bills Safety Damar Hamlin following the collapse he suffered during the Monday Night Football game.

Brady, while sending his condolences to Hamlin via his Twitter page, also used the opportunity to reflect on the professional and tasking sports he has been playing since he got drafted by the NFL in 2000.

Although the NFL Veteran didn't hint at quitting the sport, his message, however, carried a heavy undertone that left room for speculation among fans.

After Hamlin collapsed to the ground during the first quarter of Monday's night football game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals, it was reported that he suffered a cardiac arrest and was immediately administered CPR by the medical staff for approximately 10 minutes before he was rushed to the hospital.

The unfortunate incident caused pandemonium for fans present at the stadium and viewers watching at home. This led to an outpouring of prayers, support, and love for the 24-year-old who is currently battling for his life in the hospital.

Joining in and throwing his unwavering support, was Brady, who took to his Twitter on Tuesday, January 3, to lend his voice and wish the NFL player a speedy recovery.

Expressing his thoughts about the sad situation, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback wrote, "We're praying for Damar and his family this morning in Tampa. Moments like this put into perspective what it means to play this game we love.

He further added, "Thankful for our communities in Cincinnati and Buffalo for the overwhelming level of care and support I know they'll continue to provide."

Agreeing with the 45-year-old, his followers were quick to comment on his tweet and encourage him for the great work he is doing.

A follower wrote, "Thank you, Tom, for continuing to play a vicious game at an older age. You provide me with unlimited motivation and inspiration."  Another wrote, "Tom, you're simply in a  class of your own. We true football fans are praying for Damar, his family, teammates, and all of you that work so tirelessly to not only play the game. We all love the philanthropic you provide to our communities thank you.???  to all NFL players."

Speaking of philanthropy, the quarterback took to his Instagram story to repost a GoFundMe set up by Hamlin to raise money for underprivileged children in his local area. He also donated $10,000 to the fundraiser, and after the uneventful incident that happened to the Buffalo Bills Safety, the amount donated to the GoFundMe has reached more than $4 million.

Celebrities In The Entertainment Industry Reacted To Hamlin's Distressing Collapse

Aside from Brady, other stars have expressed concern over the devastating occurrence and have stepped up by lending their voices to support Hamlin in different ways.

Per The Blast, veteran rapper Snoop Dogg shared a picture of Hamlin on his Instagram page. The snap captured the Buffalo Bills player mid-scream, presumably celebrating a win as he donned his team's football gear on a field.

Attaching a caption to the picture, the iconic rapper passionately wrote, "PRAY FOR DAMAR HAMLIN." He further added a prayer hand and fist bump emoji, keeping his message short and direct.

His plea of support was warmly received and had over three thousand people flooding his comment section with their prayers for the Pennsylvania native.

Among the list of celebrities sending in their prayers were Josh Gad and Lynda Carter. Gad poured out his thoughts on Twitter and revealed that it might be difficult for him to continue watching football after Hamlin's shocking incident.

While Carter, popularly known for her role as "Wonder Woman"  in the live-action TV series, also sent her love to the NFL player and his family on Twitter. She tweeted, "Buffalo has been through too much in the last 12 months. Rooting for @HamlinIsland and his loved ones.?❤"

Supporters Generously Donated To Hamlin's GoFundMe Page

Despite Hamlin's inability to oversee his online toy drive fundraiser, which he began in 2020 to raise money to purchase toys for children in his neighborhood, people from all over the world continue to donate to his fundraiser.

Per The Blast, after fans witnessed the devastating moment Hamlin fought for his life on the field, they decided to pour in their donations to his GoFundMe.

Within an hour of his dreadful collapse, the fundraiser rose to $300,000, and after a few more hours, the donations hit over $2 million.

As of this moment, after receiving help from over 120, 000 donations, the total amount raised has surpassed $4 million and is now approaching $5 million.
