The critics are having a field day trolling Andrew Tate following his arrest.
Barely two days after environmental Greta Thunberg told Andrew that he has "small d**k energy," Romanian authorities have put the social media influencer behind bars. However, instead of the public showing sympathy for the hefty charges against him, they have resorted to mocking him, and famed stars, including Jameela Jamil, are leading the pack.
Celebrities Troll Andrew Tate After His Unexpected Arrest In Romania
The drama began earlier this week when Andrew attempted to troll the climate activist by showing off the 33 cars he allegedly owns. "Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions," the self-described misogynist penned in his tweet.
In response, the 19-year-old wrote, "yes, please do enlighten me. email me at smalld**kenergy@getalife.com." To save face, Tate uploaded a clip on Thursday, December 29, in which he responded to the Nobel Prize nominee's tweet while eating a pizza and smoking a cigar.
Unfortunately, the pizza box came from a local pizza franchise, which reportedly tipped the Romanian authorities off about his presence in their country. Ultimately, Andrew and his brother Tristan were arrested on suspicion of human trafficking, rape, and organized crime offenses after police raided his luxury mansion.
Even though the arrest and charges are a substantial legal challenge for the 36-year-old, it has given the internet something to banter about. Actor George Takei quickly tweeted:
"So...Elon Musk let Andrew Tate back on Twitter, and Tate promptly used it to reveal his whereabouts to authorities in Romania who then arrested him. All because Greta Thunberg owned him so hard his little wee-wee fell off. Do I have that right? Please say I have that right."
"and after all the amazing work she'd done for the environment, greta thunberg would go on to win the nobel peace prize for *checks notes* indirectly sending andrew tate to jail," "West Side Story" actress Rachel Zegler applauded.
"Well well well," Cardi B simply wrote above a news publication reporting Andrew's arrest. Meanwhile, Jameela Jamil had a "rollercoaster" experience reading up on the ex "Big Brother" housemate, as she expressed in an Instagram Story.
Next, "The Good Place" star warned her 3.7 million followers to "Never, ever... play with teenage girls" because "They have superpowers," above a screenshot of Alejandra Caraballo's tweet that read:
"Not only did Greta Thunberg destroy Andrew Tate with her tweet, she made him so angry he inadvertently tipped off Romanian authorities of his presence in Romania with his lame comeback video. Greta is an absolute legend."
In a third update, Jamil shared the meme of an instructor telling people that if they "f**ked around," they would "find out," indicating what happened to Andrew.
"I know that's right, greta," Quinta Brunson tweeted alongside a gif of "Real Housewives of Atlanta" stars Kandi Burruss and Phaedra Parks laughing and high-fiving each other.
"And that's why I call him Andrew The Human Trafficker. He sent me a cease and desist threatening to sue me for defamation for saying hes a human trafficker. What else am I supposed to call someone that buys & sells human beings against their will? Andrew Tate the human trafficker," Ethan Klein questioned.
The Tate Brothers Will Face A Terrorism Team As Part Of Investigation
In a detailed report by Daily Mail, it was recorded that Andrew and Tristan were detained for 24 hours as part of the criminal investigation following the raids done in his villa and his other properties near Bucharest, the capital of Romania.
Romanian prosecutors alleged that the Tate brothers are suspects in an organized crime ring that sexually coerced and exploited at least six women. These women were reportedly recruited, housed, and then forced into performing pornographic scenes for videos that would be sold online.
Andrew and Tristan are expected to face questioning by Romania's organized crime and terrorism team — which is part of the investigation into the alleged sex crimes and human trafficking offenses they are accused of. A spokesperson for the former professional kickboxer informed the publication:
"We cannot provide any details at the moment regarding alleged reports that they have been detained; however, Andrew and Tristan Tate have the utmost respect for the Romanian authorities and will always assist and help in any way they can."
