’90 Day Fiancé’'s Geoffrey Says He Wouldn't Be Able To Be With Varya Now Due To Travel Restrictions

Geoffrey Paschel appeared on ’90 Day Fiancé’ this season as he was pursuing love with Varya Malina. He visited her in her home country of Russia where he had the intent of proposing to her. He ended up admitting that he spent time in prison for selling drugs and from that point, Varya seemed very skeptical to continue her relationship with him. Her family even thought it was a bad idea to be with him. It may have also played a role in her rejecting his proposal.

Geoffrey ended up coming back to his home state of Tennessee not as en engaged man. He began to try to have relationship with his friend, Mary Wallace. To his surprise though, Varya popped up at his home unannounced and tried to win him back. It definitely seemed that Geoffrey began to catch feelings for her again and chose her. Geoffrey has since been investigated for multiple domestic violence incidents as he is supposedly not associated with TLC at all anymore but he denied getting fired.

It now appears that Varya isn't with Geoffrey in America, either. He recently took to Instagram to show himself making some food with a long caption about the importance of dedication.
"Dedication: How do you know when you have arrived on the other side of a “life change?” I think it comes out of nowhere after engaging in repetitive behaviors in attempts to achieve the desired change—even in the case of adversity. How easy is it to veer off track and allow lines to be skewed when you are out of your element or pushed towards other options? I have found that no one, and I mean no one, is a better accountability partner than yourself.

From this point, questions about Varya started to flow in quickly. Geoffrey replied to one user saying “You know this because I am making a dinner???? My relationship status is not something I can talk about though regardless.”
Another person said “If you’re not with Varya you seriously messed that up" and Geoffrey replied “Yeah? Now I should let random people dictate my life? Too funny…” The user meant no harm though as they replied “Not saying that at all. From your response I’m assuming you’re not together. I’m just saying how beautiful you two were together."

Geoffrey went on to say that travel restrictions are playing a role in why he is not with Varya right now as he didn't clarify if he is in a relationship with her. This is probably due to the COVID-19 pandemic and how many countries still will not allow travelers from the United States there for now.
"Not sure if you’re aware of this or not, but even if I devoutly said we were together, she would still be under travel conditions and would therefore be restricted from coming here without some major underhanded finagling."
