B. Simone's popularity just got a massive bashing – Instagram seemed willing to shade the rapper and "Wild 'N Out" star every which way possible this week. Simone, 30, appeared in an Instagram video reposted to The Shade Room on Tuesday. Thousands of users are now upvoting comments calling the "Baby Girl: Manifest Your Life" author an "embarrassment," with others cruelly trolling the star for being herself and living her best life.
The video, taken on L.A.'s super-swanky Rodeo Drive, showed Simone in what looked like Chanel. She was brave enough to admit it was a knock-off, as you'll see below.

Scroll for the video. The author, who this year landed a Forbes feature for earning $1 million in 50 days, had been filmed on the designer-filled Rodeo Drive, with luxury designer boutique Chanel in the background.
Simone, flaunting the 15 pounds she's dropped and looking fantastic in a skintight, pink metallic bodysuit appearing to be from Chanel, said: "In L.A! On Rodeo...," then whispering into the camera to admit:
"I'm not buying a damn thing. But I look good. These Chanel pants is from China. They not real. But my hair, though....This is real human hair."

Simone, then turning around, flounced off towards the busy street, also having flipped her gorgeous long hair for a supermodel finish.
Over 5,000 users have liked a comment reading: "Am I da only one who don't think she funny? lmao like at all."
An alarming 3,000+ users liked a reply saying: "Even on mute she sound irritating af," with a further 1,000+ fans liking a comment calling Simone an "embarrassment."
Unfortunately, it wasn't an instance of the odd or isolated comment. Simone, told she was "canceled" following her June plagiarism scandal, landed negativity from all over.

Fans were quick to raise an issue that saw Simone front media outlets earlier this year. The star wound up in a scandal as her book, selling 1,000 copies an hour, was alleged to have been plagiarised from blogging sites including Pinterest. While Simone made no full admission of plagiarism, her apology video shared with her 5.1 million Instagram followers saw her pledge to fix the issue. Copies of her book were pulled.
"We did not forget about you scamming," a user wrote with over 500 others agreeing. More below.

Simone did not dodge the allegations two months ago. Her video did blame an "outsourced team" she claimed she "trusted," but the footage now viewed over 2.3 million times was apologetic.
"I have reached out directly to every content creator that was disadvantaged an I am doing everything I can to fix this issue," she wrote.
Since the scandal, Simone has gotten into the best shape of her life by losing weight. She's also been traveling and continuing her roles as a SavagexFenty ambassador and Fashion Nova partner.
