Amy Robach And T.J. Holmes Spotted Spending Time Together During The Holidays

News presenters, Amy Robach And T.J. Holmes are riding the tide of their affair scandal together.

The pair showed they were less concerned about what the public might think of them as they were recently spotted making a holiday trip together.

Per reports, Robach and Holmes started their scandalous affair in March while training together for the New York City Half Marathon.

The affair has led to their marriages hitting the rocks in addition to them getting suspended from their "Good Morning America" anchor roles. They have also faced much backlash from the public, who criticized them for having an affair while married.

Per Page Six, embattled anchors Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes were photographed at the Atlanta airport on Monday cozying up to each other as they prepared to embark on a plane for what appeared to be a holiday trip.

One of the pictures showed the pair standing close to each other conversing lovingly. They were dressed casually, with no care in the world as to what people might say about them still being together.

The duo seems to be making the best use of their suspension from the ABC network to spend more time bonding with each other. Robach and Holmes will remain suspended from all official duties pending an investigation by the showrunners as to whether their actions warrant extreme disciplinary action.

While it was unclear where the duo was heading, from all indications, it appeared to be a romantic trip for two.

Robach and Holmes allegedly started their scandalous affair in March while training together for the New York City Half Marathon.

Subsequently, they were spotted getting cozy in bars near ABC News' Midtown Manhattan headquarters in May. However, at the time, it was not public knowledge that the duo had something else going on other than being co-workers.

But it became evident that the two were dating after images of them in compromising positions during a secret trip at a cabin in upstate New York, shared by Daily Mail, went viral. 

Several recordings of the co-anchors flirting and even using sexual innuendos with one another have reappeared after news of the affair broke out.

The scandal has since landed the duo much flak from viewers of the "Good Morning America" show formerly hosted by Robach and Holmes.

The duo's marriages crashed and burned in the wake of their scandal.

For one, Robach's husband, Andrew Shue, whom she got married to in 2010, wiped his Instagram page clean of any image that featured her.

Robach was also seen moving out of their shared apartment in West Village into a housing downtown, indicating that their marriage was no longer salvageable.

The anchor was once married to former MLB player Tim McIntosh from 1996 to 2008. They welcomed two daughters: Ava and Analise, during the course of the marriage.

On the other hand, Holmes is married to attorney Marilee Fiebig, with whom he tied the knot in 2010. The pair welcomed a daughter, Sabine. The male broadcaster also bore two other kids, Brianna and Jaiden, with his former wife, Amy Ferson.

Holmes' wife, Fiebig, appears to have been the worse hit by the scandal, as sources shared she was "devasted" when the news made headlines.

The duo had been separated for several months but were in the midst of trying to "work things out" when Holmes' infamous exploits were uncovered.

"She's devastated. She had no idea," a source described Fiebig's reaction to the scandal, per Page Six. "They haven't been together in [a while], but they were trying to work it out.

The source added, "They were just together for T.J.'s birthday," which was marked in August.

In the meantime, it is uncertain what the final decision will be by the ABC showrunners with regard to Holmes and Robach's situation. The verdict ranges between the pair being fired or reassigned to other parts of the network away from the spotlight.
