Christina Aguilera Get Slammed By Fans For 'Eggs On Faces' Friday Announcement

Pop queen Christina Aguilera has done it again. She tantalized her fans with a "stay tuned for Friday" teaser yesterday with the sexiest pictures ever and then surprised her fans with something they did not expect.

In fact, when she dropped that post, fans were all agog, wondering what the gorgeous Xtina had in sort for them. All sorts of theories abounded with many wondering if it was a new song, or a new album or some time of a collab.

The buzz on Christina's Instagram started this week itself when she stood up for Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's latest music video, "WAP".

While WAP stands for something rather censored and very NSFW; and also got a lot of conservative folks riled up, Xtina was more than happy to feel things for it.

And her big thumbs up further excited fans, who really though Friday was the day she would be announcing something huge, like maybe a "WAP-Dirrty" remix with a collab.

No such luck.

Despite that sexy cleavage show, Christina's big announcement was the fact that the live-action movie "Mulan" would be released on Disney+ on September 4.

Wrote Christina, "It’s been a long-awaited project that had to be postponed at the beginning of the year when all the theatres got shut down...but now we can reveal this beautiful movie and unveil the songs and music videos that I recorded in both English and Spanish."

She also wrote, "A very nostalgic and special moment — seeing as this movie started it all for me."

Now, it's not like fans are not excited for her and her re-recorded songs. It's just that after not having a new song or album from her for so long, expectations were a little bigger.

Wrote one disappointed fan, "I hope this has nothing to do with what you told us to stay tuned to..."

Another of her Instagram followers remarked, "Eggs on our faces for the ones who thought we'd get new music. Oh well thanks for the videos ❤️❤️❤️"

The love is there for Christina, it's just a little disappointed right now.

But there's no denying that she is utterly breathtaking...

Of course, she still had her diehard fans stand up for her, with one replying to the disappointed fans, "There's a pandemic, ffs ?", probably meaning that its okay if she doesn't release new music yet.

And one of her fans wrote it loud and clear for others to understand, "we're probably gonna get both just not as soon as we expect it, like next year or the end of this year for new music. She's quarantining, enjoying a break and family life, while simultaneously working on projects. It'll come. Just let it come when it comes."
