Jenna Marbles and Julien Solomita are otters… “MARRIED OTTERS!”

The ex-YouTuber and professional gamer have been together for nine years, and Solomita announced the exciting news on his Instagram.

They began dating in 2014 and announced their engagement in April 2021.

Solomita posted a carousel of photos of their big day. The couple seemingly kept it traditional with a big addition of humor.

He captioned the post, “married otters <3.” Solomita didn't reveal the exact date of their marriage or further details about their big day.

Marbles wedding dress featured a lace embroidered, long sleeve, deep V neckline and puffy tulle floor-length bottom.

Her veil was also floor length. She kept her short locks straight with an embellished headband.

Solomita opted for a reddish rust-colored suit, a bolero necklace and styled his hair into a mullet.

The couple incorporated their beloved doggos in their nuptials too.

This is the most active Marbles has been on social media since she announced her departure from the social media platform that shot her to social stardom.

In June 2020, Marbles announced she was quitting YouTube indefinitely.

Following her departure, the internet began calling out other big YouTube names demanding accountability.

This was a common theme throughout 2020.

Fans of YouTube’s most beloved creators wanted the content creators to come clean about offending fans in the past.

Marbles ultimately decided it would be best if she stepped down from the platform that kick started her career.

She took to YouTube to share her final YouTube video titled, “A Message,” where she tearfully addressed her decision to step down from the platform.

In the 11-minute video, Marbles began by apologizing for past actions and revealed she’d be stepping away from creating content because, “we’re at a time where we are purging ourselves of anything and everything toxic.”

The content creator revealed at the time that she was “requested to address things she’s done in her past.”

However, it was conflicting given that she received tweets from fans who label her as an “unproblematic queen.”

“I’m not completely unproblematic, and I’ve tried my best to grow up and to be a better person, she said in 2020.

Marbles revealed that she’s happy to address the things she’s been called out for in her past.

Marbles was Called Out For Her "Problematic" Past

“What I want from the people that I support and that I like is to have accountability and to know that I am supporting someone whose morals and values align with my own,” Marbles continued.

She proceeded to make many of her “controversial” / “problematic” videos private or delete them all together.

After sharing why she decided to delete her old videos, Jenna then went into detail, discussing some of the instances that many of her 20 million subscribers found offensive in the past, including a 2011 video titled “What Nicki Minaj Wants In A Man,” where she impersonated Nicki Minaj by doing blackface.

She admitted the now-private video was “incredibly crazy and embarrassing” and even showed fans a snippet of the video to bring awareness to the issue if they see screenshots on the Internet.
