There are less than two days until the highly anticipated Christmas celebration, and Al Roker is blessing fans with an early gift — a weather update.
Despite being in recovery after a month's hospitalization, the veteran weather presenter does not plan on leaving his fans in the dark regarding the weather, as he recently hinted at what to expect.
Al Roker Advises Fans To Take Their Time Outdoors In Heavy Snowfall
According to Roker, the weather has started to indicate that it is Christmas, implying snowfall has gotten a tad heavier. He displayed evidence in an Instagram reel featuring a gridded video of two scenes.
In the former, the outdoors was filmed, showing heavy snow falling on his yard. The 68-year-old zoomed in on the downpour, drawing his fans' attention to the surrounding leafless snow-covered trees.
Additionally, his entire yard was covered in snow but with a narrow path cleared as a walkway; his family dog moved around that way. In contrast, the second grid gave a comforting view of an indoor fireplace with burning logs. Roker's caption read:
"It's beginning to look like #christmas, but please take your time getting to where you need to. Sometimes, if you can, delaying and waiting is the way to go."
Fans seem to appreciate the advice as thousands liked the post, with several taking to the comments to express gratitude and wish him a "healthy" Christmas.
The prominent journalist clearly prepped for the holiday season properly, even after being discharged from the hospital last month for blood clots in his lungs. The Blast reported that he was over the moon to be out of the infirmary and strong enough to partake in the family's Christmas tradition of decorating a tree.

He detailed the intimate moment on his Instagram with a carousel of pictures featuring his wife, Deborah Roberts, and their children, Leila and Nicholas. In the pictures, each family member held up a decoration, like in the initial slide where Leila could be seen holding one and posing on a ladder beside the tree.
A few of the slides showed the family together, including the concluding one, featuring them beaming and holding on to one another with their little pup. As for the Christmas tree, it was huge, almost reaching the room's ceiling, and perfectly adorned with bright lights and shimmery ornaments.
Roker glowed with good health in all the images, and in the caption, he expressed gratitude, penning, "So thankful to be well enough to decorate the Roker Family #christmastree." The post got more than 43k likes in under ten hours, and thousands flooded the comments with gushing remarks about the family's adorableness and the old-timer's good health.
One fan was overjoyed to see the kinsfolk together, while another urged him to enjoy the holidays with his family while wishing him "continued good health." Like many of the commenters, a follower celebrated Roker and "his beautiful family" with heart emojis, and at the same time, a well-wisher exclaimed:
"This made my night! Seeing you all together warms my heart – One day at a time with Al's health journey back! Slow and steady wins the race."
The TV personality's health is evidently a top priority for the family, as he once revealed that he constantly works on getting back to his normal self using occupational and physical therapy.
The '3rd Hour Today' Co-host Gets Discharged From Hospital On Thanksgiving Day
Fans would recall that Roker left the hospital just in time for the Thanksgiving season, making the period a forever memorable one for him.
The Blast noted that he posted a video of himself on Instagram walking out of the clinic and letting out a "wahoooo." The SUNY Oswego alumnus was dressed in a green shirt, dark trousers, and a face cap, and in the caption, he wrote:
"This is my version of the Thanksgiving Day parade. Getting ready to leave the hospital. Time to blow this taco stand. So much to be #thankful for on the #thanksgivingday. Leaving the hospital and home for #thanksgivingdinner."
As expected, his followers cheered him on in the comments with one stating that the development made them "so happy." Roker also showed fans how much he missed reporting the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with his co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb; nevertheless, fans would expect to see him next year.
