Tarek El Moussa And Fiancée Heather Rae Young Want A New Reality Show

Tarek El Moussa and Heather Rae Young are newly engaged and hoping to land their very own show. While the couple is quite busy at the moment with their own shows, including his "Flipping 101" and "Flip or Flop" and her "Selling Sunset," they are looking forward to appearing alongside one another in a potential new series.

During an August 9 interview with Hollywood Life, Tarek said that while Heather won't be seen on "Flip or Flop" anytime soon, she will be making an appearance on "Flipping 101" before teasing a possible spinoff.

“She’s Netflix, I’m HGTV, but the good news is [Heather] is going to be in an episode of Flipping 101 with me,” Tarek explained. "You’re going to see me and her on the big screen this fall and we’re flipping a house together and it’s going to show the proposal maybe so we’ll see. But you’re going to see us on TV together. If you would ask me what the future is it’s me and this girl crushing TV together.”

While it was previously believed that Tarek would not appear on any episodes of Heather's Netflix series, he's since confirmed otherwise.

“It looks like I’m going to be allowed to film one time with Heather on 'Selling Sunset,'” he shared.

According to Heather, Tarek's future appearance on "Selling Sunset" came after Netflix teamed up with HGTV and struck a deal.

“That was the agreement because HGTV got to film our proposal, so the networks came together, they got along and I think it’s going to happen,” Heather explained.

When the topic of starring on a show together was mentioned, Heather told Hollywood Life that a series together was their "ultimate goal."

“I’m focused on 'Selling Sunset' and he’s focused on his two shows, but eventually we’d love to be able to film together,” she noted.

That said, the idea of a joint show is still in the blueprint stage.

“There’s so much opportunity. If you were to ask me, I would love to do a high-end house flipping show with Heather. Buying and fixing and selling $10 million houses,” Tarek said.

“And then showing you guys our real lives as well. Us with the kids [Tarek and Christina’s children Taylor, 9, and Brayden, 4], what we do when we don’t have the kids, bringing you into our lives and showing you guys what we do on our day-to-day basis,” Heather added.

Tarek shares his two kids with ex-wife Christina Anstead.

"Flip or Flop" season nine airs on HGTV on Thursday nights at 8 p.m. while the third season of "Selling Sunset" is currently streaming on Netflix.
