Adrienne Bailon is passing down traditions to her son at an early age.
The Tv personality and her husband, Israel Houghton, welcomed their son Ever James back in August via surrogacy. Ever since the new mom has been keen on enjoying the pleasures of motherhood while detailing her experiences with her fans.
Bailon, who wants to do everything with her little boy, was over the moon creating holiday traditions with her baby.
Adrienne Bailon Enjoys Holiday Traditions With Her Son And Husband
As this is “The Real” alum’s first Christmas holiday with her son, she is excited to let her toddler enjoy her holiday traditions.
Bailon’s holiday traditions included having tea at New York’s iconic destination, The Palm Court. Designed by renowned architect Thierry Despont, the elite restaurant is known for its assorted teas. As such, it’s no surprise Bailon incorporated having their tea into her festive rituals.
The actress showed the restaurant’s delicate designs on her Instagram stories. Alongside the clip, she informed her fans that she was excited to experience her rituals with her son.
She wrote, “Pretty sure he’s too little to remember... but I’m so excited to create holiday traditions with my baby boy.”
Another video on the “Coach Carter” actress’s Instagram stories unveiled the sweet moment when father and son were playing at the restaurant. The gospel musician dressed in a black shirt held his son up while cooing to him; this caused the little boy to giggle sweetly.
Captioning the sweet moment, the actress wrote, “And these two... are my whole heart. Always being silly. My drooling boy.” She further highlighted her boy’s achievement, saying, “He’s starting to teeth early and is drooling nonstop.”
James got to taste the fine restaurant’s specially made tea as another picture showed the toddler and his mom holding onto a teacup.
“Look who wanted to experience holiday high tea @theplazahotel, @everjames,” Bailon said in the photo’s caption.
Adrienne Bailon Gushed About New Motherhood Experience
This holiday experience is one of the several experiences the mother-of-one has shared with her wonderful son. Previously, The Blast reported that the singer gushed about how motherhood made her feel.
The TV star opened up about her newfound joy from being a mom, saying, “I didn’t know that I could love at this capacity. We planned for this for over six years to have a child, and I just had no idea — as much as I thought I love him even before he was born, he got here, and you’re just like, ‘wow.’ It’s heart bursting.”
The “Playas Gon’ Play” singer further confessed that being a mother tends to change one’s perspective in life.
Settling into being a full-time mother made Bailon give more credit to her mom. She said, “It actually makes me appreciate my mom that much more. Because you never realize how much your mother loves you until you become a mother.”
The former "Cheetah Girls" star declared her love for her son, saying, “I love my son in an insane way. There isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for him. I think it definitely makes you selfless.”
Additionally, she noted some changes that came with the new position, saying that she previously needed a full night's rest to function, but not anymore.
“I am running on a good three on a daily basis, and I’m doing just fine!” She declared.
The Former Cheetah Girl Celebrated Her Son’s First Thanksgiving
In October, the “Buffalo Dreams” actress had a denim-themed celebration for her son’s first Thanksgiving, and The Blast documented the elaborate event. All the guests in attendance followed the theme. However, the singer stole the spotlight. She looked stunning in a strapless mini-denim gown designed with frayed ends.
From the clips shared on her Instagram account, the tube dress hugged the media sensation’s bosom, while her husband looked handsome in a long-sleeved denim jacket with matching jeans.
Famous florist Diva Blooms and event designer Itsasweetlifebykim exquisitely decorated the party. The couple’s dining area was decorated with an assortment of flowers which was also featured on the dining tables.
On the tables, there were blocks decorated with colorful flowers, large white candles, and stunning granite-like plates. In line with the denim theme, the cutleries were placed inside pocket-shaped denim pouches, each with the guests’ names.
Showing her excitement, the New Yorker shared a snap and captioned it, “@everjames — I have never been more thankful.”
