You would think with Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton having both married princes and brother's at that, being sister-n-law's because of this, they would get along better and bond easier. However, sadly this isn't the case. Although it seemed like Kate Middleton tried to bond with Meghan Markle and become closer with her like a sister, it just didn't work out that way for the sister-n-law's. Whose fault is this?

Although Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went off the radar when stepping down as senior Royal's, the new book about them by Royal experts, Omid Scobie and Caroline Durand, Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal Family, has pushed them in the spotlight once again. Being in the spotlight so much is one of the reasons they left the Royal family.

Not only is this biography written about the former Royal couple putting them back in the spotlight where they don't want to be anymore, but it has examined the relationships they had with many of the members of the Royal family including Prince William, Kate Middleton, and Queen Elizabeth II.

One thing this book closely examined is the fact that Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle aren't close at all. They are cordial with each other but they aren't friends or close 'sisters' like everyone expects them to be since they have a major thing in common, they married brother's, and the brother's are both princes.

Prince Harry introduced Meghan Markle, who was at the time, just his girlfriend, to his sister-n-law Kate Middleton at his brother's Prince William's apartment at Kensington Palace in January 2017.

According to Harry, during his and Meghan's post engagement interview with Time, Prince William and Kate Middleton were both eager to meet Meghan. Harry said. "William was longing to meet her and so was Catherine, so you know being our neighbors we managed to get that in a couple of — well, quite a few times now." Meghan then added that she thought Kate was wonderful.

Harry then brought up how amazing his brother and Kate were to him and Meghan and how much they supported the couple. However, things may not have been that great between the couples. Not only does it seem that Meghan and Kate didn't bond like they were expected to, but it seems the brothers aren't quite as close as they once were since Harry and Meghan got engaged and married. According to CheatSheet, Prince William spoke up with concern, letting Harry know that he thought the couple were moving through their relationship too fast.

According to a recent article on The Blast, Kate Middleton even tried sending flowers to Meghan Markle to not only break the ice between them but also again for her birthday. However, Markle was offended by the flowers saying that the Duchess of Cambridge should have done something different instead of sending flowers. Markle said that Kate Middleton should have been there for her when she was attacked so many times by the British media instead of sending her flowers.

During the first meeting between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton, Markle gave Middleton a leather-bound dream journal as a gift, and seeing how it was the very first gift she bought and gave to the future Queen Consort, many fans and even Royal experts believe it was very inappropriate.

Even writers from Vanity Fair, Josh Duboff and Julie Miller thought it was inappropriate and called the gift, 'bohemian' during their In the Limelight podcast. They also said it was something Meghan would enjoy more since she likes to write and used to run her own blog.

Also, the Daily Mail's Polly Hudson disagreed with the gift and had this to say about it, "Dreams are just the worst. The only way (the gift) could be more dull is if she had to document other people’s dreams, because there’s nothing on earth more boring than them." She added that the gift was passive aggressive.

Finding Freedom will be released on August 11.
