Movie star Samuel L. Jackson discovered the hard way how easy it is to have people prying into your business on social media platforms.

The Hollywood A-lister was recently caught on Wednesday "liking" adult videos on his verified Twitter account. The day was also his 74th birthday, thus giving him the kind of unwanted attention he wouldn't have appreciated on his special day.

While it has not yet been determined if Jackson was the one behind the account liking the X-rated videos, the likes were retracted shortly after online users made the act go viral.

Jackson made headlines on his birthday in a manner that betrayed his alleged love for the adult industry.

The actor's Twitter account was observed by online users "liking" several X-rated adult videos shared on the platform.

It is unclear whether the raunchy act was being done by the Marvel star or by a team member or another third party that runs his account. There is also a possibility that his account was hacked, although Jackson has made no comments regarding that.

Upon noticing Jackson's account liking the adult videos, many of his followers tried to alert him that the entire public was seeing his likes.

However, in an attempt to draw Jackson's attention to his action, more and more people got wind of what had happened.

The likes were then deleted as Jackson's name started to trend on the social media platform, but only after sharp-eyed followers took screenshots and screenrecordings [link is NSFW] of them.

Although the likes have long since vanished, the rest of the internet continued to discuss it, with most users defending Samuel in the wake of the exposé and emphasizing that he had done nothing unlawful.

One online user wrote, "people are making too much of a fuzz about Samuel L Jackson liking porn, who gives a damn the dude's fine and its normal stuff like damn are we still acting like sex is that much of a weird and big deal."

Jackson being linked with liking porn does not come as a surprise as he once spoke about his love for the adult industry during a Captain American news conference in 2014, per Daily Mail.
