Lala Kent Flaunts Recovery Process Of Red & Bruised Face From Cosmetic Procedure

Lala Kent, widely known for her influence in the beauty industry and plastic surgery experience, recently underwent a cosmetic procedure just in time for the holiday season.

The 32-year-old did not hesitate in getting candid with fans amid her recovery as she explained what the process entailed adding several pictures of her red, bruised face resulting from the procedure.

"Today was the last day of work," Kent began in a text overlay on a video, referring to the conclusion of the beauty procedure. "I have down time (this procedure doesn't have much anyway), so I got PRF + Micro-needling," she wrote.

She elaborated on the joint process, saying the experts drew her blood, separated the platelets, and placed them on her skin, after which it got mico-needled in. The benefits of such a procedure, as shared by the celeb on the Insta Story clip, included "helps with scarring, skin texture, plumping," amongst others.

She then admitted that she had not undergone the process since before the pandemic, adding that she had the professionals inject the remaining platelets under her eyes. In conclusion, Kent promised to share more developments after indicating that she favored injecting the platelets to "injecting filler into the tear through."

As for the video in which she tagged "@skintight aesthetics," she wore a gray bathrobe while her blonde hair was pulled back, accentuating her bruised face, covered with red blotches.

Speaking more on the PRF process in an ensuing Story post, the "Vanderpump Rules" star compared it with PRP, another beauty-enhancing procedure. According to her, PRP releases growth factors for several hours while PRF releases them for about a week.

At the same time, PRF "spins blood more slowly to extract the platelets," whereas PRP goes at an "extra high speed." Kent attached a picture taken immediately after the procedure and stressed that the face is not meant to be washed for 12-24 hours.

She sported the same gray bathrobe from her previous video but with her black manicured nails showing as she leaned her head on two fingers. Following her wash-up, she fulfilled her promise to share more updates, as seen in another slide on her Instagram Story.

The Salt Lake City native's face appeared clearer, with the redness reduced. She wrote, "24 hours since my PRF + micro-needling, I've washed my face and applied the recommended products." She added pictures of three recommended products below the text before noting that Vitamin C would help with the bruising.  

Months before Kent's cosmetic procedure, The Blast reported that she flaunted her rarely seen orca tattoo in a sheer outfit on Instagram. In the lovely pictures posted, she was dressed in a pale purple stylish see-through bustier and pants with a rope belt; the ensemble hugged her athletic frame in all the right places.

While sitting on the passenger side in a car, the September-born leaned forward with her perfectly polished nails delicately placed under her chin, revealing the ink on her ribs. She penned in the caption, "@itsjameskennedy coming through with getting me content & my orca tattoo is getting a moment."

Wasting no time, her followers flooded the comments with praises on how beautiful she looked, and several could not help but admire her tattoo. Among the commenters, one called her "the best" after recalling a "sparkly orca dress" she once wore and matching it to her tattoo.

In October, The Blast reported that Kent ended the interesting month with a sense of gratitude, marking one year since she called it quits with her ex Randall Emmett. Taking to her Instagram Story, she opened up about her traumatic experience in a lengthy note beginning with, "Happy Independence Day to me."

The Give Them Lala Beauty founder went on to note that a year ago, she had her "ducks in a row," knowing it was time to carry out her "game plan of escaping a toxic and unsafe place."

While confessing that her heart started pounding as she wrote those words, she also revealed that she had no idea what her future would hold at the time of the split. The period was quite a lot for Kent as she lost 30 pounds due to the "stress and trauma," but she knew she had to strive on, one day at a time, for her daughter Ocean.
