As previously reported, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss checked into a motel, an Oak Tree Inn, located less than one mile from his L.A. home, on Monday morning. He reportedly took an Uber to the motel, leaving his car at home, and he put his phone on airplane mode so that no one could reach or locate him.

Hotel staffers claim the beloved DJ and dancer did not appear to be in any sort of distress and was not visibly upset when he checked in on Monday. The 40-year-old star had one small bag with him and had booked the room for only one night.

On Tuesday, ‘tWitch’ missed checkout, and one of the maids who worked at the hotel went to check on him and found him dead in his hotel room bathroom. The cause of death was confirmed to be a gunshot wound to the head, by suicide.

Allison Holker Boss confirmed the news in a statement, which read, “It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us. Stephen lit up every room he stepped into.
