Lindsay Lohan had half of Instagram screaming: "MARILYN MONROE!" today. The 34-year-old actress who recently caused a giant hoopla by reuniting with co-stars from childhood movie "The Parent Trap" proved she's still a bombshell on Wednesday. It is, after all, National Lipstick Day.
If you don't live inside the "Xanax" singer's Instagram, she's been on a giant deleting spree over 2020. The peroxide blonde photo landing on her feed today marks the only light-locked snap on her account. Scroll for the photo and the reactions.

The photo, seen below and racking Lindsay up over 75,000 likes in under an hour, came with old-school glam and massive Marilyn Monroe vibes. It showed the "Mean Girls" actress in front of a mirror, seemingly topless, and showing off a made-up face that contrasted porcelain skin and those trademark freckles.
Lindsay was seen applying pillar box-red lipstick as she posed with curled, bleach-blonde hair and a manicured hand applying the cosmetics. A caption from the actress and singer read: "Hashtag Holiday it is ?#nationallipstickday."

Lindsay, followed by 8.5 million on Instagram, more than raked in the compliments. The star whose promised return to the U.S. seems on hold as she continues to live out in Dubai, had her followers losing it.
"The hottest person alive," one fan wrote, with many a follower shouting out iconic blonde bombshell Marilyn Monroe. "Marilyn Monroe vibes ????," one user wrote.
Compliments, not always a guarantee for Lohan, have been coming in steadily throughout 2020, though, with the redhead dubbed a "solid 9.5" back in June as she snapped herself for an early morning yoga selfie, seen below. Keep scrolling for the childhood snap.

It's now been 22 years since a childhood Lindsay starred alongside Dennis Quaid in iconic movie "The Parent Trap." The movie's stars recently reunited for a socially-distanced and video-filmed get-together, with the Katie Couric Instagram-streamed gathering also seeing the stars open up.
“I feel like, and I don’t know if this goes for all actors, but once you put a wig on someone, you feel different,” Lindsay said. "I feel like people treated me differently when I was Annie, because Annie was so much nicer and Hallie was just kind of like me," she added. More after the video.

Lindsay once came stumbling out of clubs at 3 a.m. with gal pals Mischa Barton and socialite Paris Hilton. Alongside multiple DUIs and those 2007 mugshots, the image for Lohan hasn't always been squeaky-clean, something that the actress herself addressed last year. When Variety asked why people "don't want" to hire her, the former "Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club" star said that people have a "misconception" of her.
Lindsay's 2020 New Year's Resolution was to return to acting and be back in the U.S. Coronavirus seems to have her stuck in Dubai for now, though.
