Cristiano Ronaldo Has YET To Congratulate Messi Or Argentina

During Portugal’s time at the World Cup, Ronaldo was benched for two games and his family made it out to be travesty.  His partner and mother to his children was very outspoken about his time off the field.

Georgina Rodriguez ripped Team Portugal a new one in a social media post, but in the “classiest” way possible.

Rodriguez posted several photos of herself all dolled up, looking super casual while in a stadium suite overlooking the field.

While this image is the status quo for her IG feed, it was the caption that told a very different story.

The caption was written in Spanish, but we translated it to English.

“Congratulations Portugal While the 11 players sang the hymn all the targets placed on you,” her caption began. She even shared a video of the cameramen pointing their lens at Ronaldo on the bench rather than at the players on the field.

What a shame not to have been able to enjoy the best player in the world during the 90 minutes,” her caption continued. “The fans have not stopped claiming you and shouting your name.”Rodriguez concluded “I hope that God and your dear friend Fernando continue hand in hand and make us vibrate one more night.” In every photo she shared from Tuesday’s match, Rodriguez looked solemn and did not crack a smile. On the same hand, Ronaldo was pictured looking highly peeved and angry on the bench.  The soccer star did actually get to play 17 minutes at the very end of the game.Team Portugal absolutely spanked Switzerland in the knockout round winning 6-1. Hey, great things can happen without the “best player” on the field. Rodriguez and Ronaldo had a devastating loss earlier this year.

The English soccer club announced the news in a statement shared on their website.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect,” the club’s official website read. “The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future. Everyone at Manchester United remains focused on continuing the team’s progress under Erik ten Hag and working together to deliver success on the pitch.”

The “breakup” comes a week after Ronaldo did an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan and said he felt “betrayed” by Man U.

He also said he has ZERO respect for the club’s head coach, Erik ten Hag.

Ten Hag suspended Ronaldo in October due to his refusing to appear as a substitute during Manchester United’s 2-0 win over Tottenham.
