Cristiano Ronaldo is a free agent.

The soccer superstar is no longer a team member of Manchester United.

The shocking news was announced on Tuesday, November 22nd.

The English soccer club announced the news in a statement shared on their website.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is to leave Manchester United by mutual agreement, with immediate effect,” the club’s official website read.

““The club thanks him for his immense contribution across two spells at Old Trafford, scoring 145 goals in 346 appearances, and wishes him and his family well for the future.”

The “breakup” comes a week after Ronaldo did an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan and said he felt “betrayed” by Man U.

He also said he has ZERO respect for the club’s head coach, Erik ten Hag.

“I don’t have respect for him [Ten Hag] because he doesn’t show respect for me,” Ronaldo said.
