“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Meghan Edmonds’ ex-husband Jim Edmonds' rep says the MLB star has never met her new boyfriend despite him running his mouth about him in the press.
Meghan’s new beau, Christian Schauf, spoke to Page Six about his relationship with the reality star. He revealed the two met on a dating app and he’s never watched “Real Housewives.”
Christian then spoke about Jim saying, “This is a 35-year-old woman with three kids under the age of 3 with an ex who is not that easy to deal with — and that is putting it in the nicest way possible — and then having every move you make played out at the scale she does, for her to continue to be positive and push ahead and have goals, and not let it overwhelm her … it’s really impressive to me.”
The problem is Christian has never even met Meghan’s ex-husband. Jim’s rep, Steve Honig, tells The Blast, “Christian has never met or even exchanged one word with Jim. It seems a bit unfair to make comments about someone you’ve never even spoken with. I also don’t think it’s appropriate or productive to be making negative comments about the father of your girlfriend’s children. That doesn’t really seem like that is in the best interest of the children. Seems to me Christian and Meghan are yet again looking for attention.”
As The Blast previously reported, last year, Jim filed the divorce from Meghan following 5 years of marriage. They share three kids together: Aspen, Hart and Hayes. We’re told Meghan has been contesting the prenuptial agreement the couple signed before their marriage.
During a recent mediation, Meghan allegedly demanded an extra $1 million dollars and said she would be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement. Sources told The Blast, during the recent settlement talks, Meghan demanded a lump sum payment 10x higher than what was agreed to in the prenuptial agreement.
During negotiations, we’re told Meghan said she would be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement, which would prevent her from talking about the marriage if she received $1 million from Jim.
At one point, Meghan allegedly referenced possibly writing a Tell-All about her life which could obviously include her divorce from Jim. The mediation did not resolve anything and the case is moving forward.
Meghan and Jim got married back in October 2014. She would join the cast of “Real Housewives of Orange County” in 2015.The two appeared on the reality show from season 10-12.
