Karlie Kloss Supports Taylor Swift Amidst Their 'Illicit Affair' Allegations Rising Again

Taylor Swift's surprise album "folklore" is leading many to look back at her relationship with supermodel Karlie Kloss - and the romance rumors that came along with it.
If the pairing doesn't ring a bell: you might remember Swift's "squad" days (circa 2015), back when radio had "Blank Space" on repeat, and she was seemingly always flanked by famous friends. Taylor and Karlie met two years prior, at the 2013 "Victoria's Secret Fashion Show."
The pair were suspected to have had a falling out several years ago, leaving things mostly quiet on the #Kaylor front (plus, Karlie got married to man). This all changed on Friday, when Kloss shared a photoset that was scarily identical to Taylor's new album cover, and did so within hours.
As evidenced by Karlie's Instagram activity yesterday, developments are definitely still happening here...and Taylor's telling lyrics are only adding to the narrative.

The model, who appeared in Taylor's star-studded "Bad Blood" video, was believed to have "split" with Swift (in whatever way) in mid-2019 "over something crazy" - but no one knows what actually happened.
As far as the world can see, their biggest point of contention comes with Karlie being managed by Scooter Braun, Taylor's self-stated "worst enemy."
The Karlie/Scooter bond became a deep cut for Swift supporter because it goes beyond business. The GRAMMY winner cites "incessant, manipulative bullying" at the hand of his then-current clients (like Justin Bieber and Kanye West).
Karlie's was seen dining/vacationing with Scooter and his family last fall, making her Monday support of Swift to be somewhat surprising.
Me listening to any Taylor Swift song, nodding sagely: ah yes, another reference to Karlie Kloss

Intro another member of Taylor Swift's since-defeated squad:
Martha Hunt, who's also a Victoria's Secret angel (alongside Karlie Kloss.)
It all started when Hunt shared a photo of herself wearing the cardigan Taylor sent her in support of its newly-namesake song "cardigan." Martha's caption, "peter losing wendy," is directly lifted from the song, and the song itself is speculated to be about Kloss.
As if #Kaylor nation hadn't lost it after Karlie clicked "like" on this, they really did when she went on to like something from clothing designer Christian Siriano, who wrote that "#taylorswift inspired a paint session last night after a very hard day in fashion."

Taylor and Karlie loved walking hand-in-hand during public outings and taking hush-hush road trips to secluded state parks - until, all of the sudden, they didn't anymore.
The former roommates once shared their "BFF" story via the cover of Vogue, but, as Buzzfeed says, "it's actually complicated."
It might still start with the Scooter Braun situation though ...all of which came to a head last year when he bought Big Machine Label Group, Taylor's lifelong record label. His purchase gives him full control over everything Swift's recorded since age 15, up until 2018.
Karlie added to suspicisions that she'd betrayed Taylor when shestayed silent on the matter. Swift fans started "spamming Karlie with the rat emoji," more or less turning on her...needless to say, her subtle support for "folklore" is speaking volumes.

Kloss really didn't have to say a single word, because Taylor already did. The #Kaylor trail traces back seven years now, and those who've tracked it since it start are saying Taylor Swift's "folklore" isn't as fictional as its name suggests...they say it's all about Karlie Kloss.
One of the songs being dissected is track 10, titled "illicit affairs."
The song alludes to a major marker of the Taylor/Karlie tryst, aka the great "kissgate" scandal of 2014...which, in short, shows them being snuggly while seeing The 1975 in concert.
Somehow (and ahead of album time), someone tweeted a direct reference to the song, saying that "Taylor swift and Karlie Kloss had the BIGGEST illicit affair. Do not test me."
