She captioned the photo on her Instagram Story, “Too Soon? Lol.”
The Blast reported on the fashion house’s scandalous ad campaign which featured minor children holding teddy bear backpacks, and the bears were wearing BDSM-inspired outfits.
“We would like to address the controversies surrounding our recent Ad campaigns. We strongly condemn child abuse; it was never our intent to include it in our narrative. The two separate ad campaigns in question reflect a series of grievous errors for which Balenciaga takes responsibility,” Balenciaga’s statement read. “The first campaign, the gift collection campaign, featured a child with plush bear bags dressed in what some have labeled BDSM-inspired outfits. Our plush bear bags and the gift collection should not have been featured with children. This was a wrong choice by Balenciaga, combined with our failure in assessing and validating images. The responsibility for this lies with Balenciaga alone.”
Balenciaga Took Part Ownership For Ridiculous Ad Campaign
Barstool Sports’ personality and host, Kevin Clancy, shared a video in which he called out the fashion brand for using “United States vs. Williams” legal documents in the ad.
The 2008 court case promoted making child pornography legal.

“The second, separate campaign for spring 2023, which was meant to replicate a business office environment, included a photo with a page in the background from a Supreme Court ruling ‘United States vs. Williams’ 2008 which confirms as illegal and not protected by freedom of speech the promotion of child pornography,” their statement continued.
Balenciaga threw blame on third parties for making the “props.”
“All the items included in this shooting were provided by third parties that confirmed in writing that these props were fake office documents. They turned out to be real legal papers most likely coming from the filming of television drama. The inclusion of these unapproved documents was the result of reckless negligence for which Balenciaga has filed a complaint,” it read. “We take full accountability for our lack of oversight and control of the documents in the. background and we could have done things differently.”
Balenciaga said it will learn from their mistakes and identify ways it can contribute.
Julia Fox Went Off On Balenciaga!
Last month, the “Uncut Gems” actress went off on pedophiles and Balenciaga in two videos shared to TikTok.
Fox took to the social media platform and said, “First thing’s first, I’m not their spokesperson and have zero relationship with the brand…I think it’s horrific. When I was reading and watching all the videos, I was literally sick to my stomach.”
She went on to explain that she feels bad for the women associated to the brand professionally.
It must be noted that Kim Kardashian is a brand ambassador for Balenciaga.
“I couldn’t help but think, ‘Damn, the women who are associated with the brand professionally are getting so much pushback like almost as if they’re the f**king child molestors,’” Fox said.
While she said this, writing popped up over her face. It read, “Why are the women being blamed for a MANS mistake?”
“And then another thought popped into my head, no child was harmed in that shoot, but millions of children are harmed in the church every day and I don’t see #cancelthechurch anywhere,” she continued.
In a follow-up video, Julia really let her thoughts on the church and the man be known.
“You guys love saying like, ‘Hollyweird, all the pedophiles in Hollyweird,’ listen up f**k faces, there’s pedophiles in every industry. You want to go be a chef, there’s probably some abusers over there. You want to go be a teacher? Abusers over there. You wanna go be an engineer? Abusers over there,” she said while nude. “This isn’t an issue with Hollywood, this isn’t an issue with the fashion world, this isn’t an issue with celebrities, this is an issue with MEN God da**it. MENNNNN!”
