This world is still in shock after learning the devastating news that beloved DJ and dancer Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss died by suicide. He was 40 years young.

Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss rose to fame after coming in second place on “So You Think Can Dance.” He then went on to work on “The Ellen DeGeneres”show, where he quickly became a fan-favorite.

He was a part of the show for several seasons, starting as a guest DJ and moving to executive producer. Yesterday, the host of the show, and close friend, Ellen DeGeneres, spoke out after learning about his death. Now, she is sharing some of her favorite memories with 'tWitch.'

Ellen Shares Video Of "Favorite Moments" With 'tWitch'

Ellen DeGeneres just shared a video, showing some of her favorite moments with 'tWitch' to Facebook.

"Right now what I want to do is remember all the love and laughter I had with tWitch," she wrote in the caption. "He brought so much joy to my life. I know he brought joy to yours too. I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite moments with him. If you want to you can also share yours. #ILovetWitch"

The video shows several moments of Ellen and 'tWitch' from the show, which was used as a segment towards the end of the show's run. Some of the clips included in the montage were of when 'tWitch' taught Ellen an entire dance routine for "So You Think You Can Dance," which is where the two first met, and of when 'tWitch' first appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

Other clips included ones of 'tWitch' dancing with the audience and one of Ellen waxing the DJ.

"Well, I don't want to say goodbye," DeGeneres said in the video.

Ellen DeGeneres Speaks Out Following 'tWitch''s Death

Yesterday, the host of the show released a statement after learning of her co-star’s death.

“I’m heartbroken,” she wrote in an Instagram post. “tWitch was pure love and light. He was my family, and I loved him with all my heart. I will miss him. Please send your love and support to Allison and his beautiful children – Weslie, Maddox, and Zaia.

'tWitch' Loved His Time On "The Ellen Show"

After “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” concluded its run, Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss posted a heartfelt statement, thanking Ellen and the show.

“I’m gonna miss this place of love, laughter, and family that I was able to experience the last 9 years,” he wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “Todays episode of @theellenshow was incredibly special and such a surprise to me. Here a few of the pics of a moment we shared about our time together and the bond that has been formed. This show has changed my life in so many ways. I already miss y’all. The inside jokes. The games. The dancing. The laughs. And unforgettably inspiring stories we got to witness of wonderful people doing extraordinary things.”

He concluded with, “Tomorrow is officially the last air date of the show so I’ll save my “goodbye” message for then. Thank you again and I love you to my friend Ellen. Thank you to the legendary staff that makes the magic happen everyday. There is a special place in my heart for y’all.”

'tWitch''s Death Ruled Suicide

According to the coroner’s office report, which is now closed, the autopsy on Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss has been completed, though an autopsy report won’t be released for another few weeks, and the cause of death was a gunshot wound to the head, by suicide.

The place of death was at an L.A. hotel. He was 40 years young.
