Rose McGowan is speaking out about #FreeBritney, saying she's 100% behind the movement and believes Britney Spears can still be "saved from the leaches that are controlling and trafficking her." The 46-year-old star took to social media to address the hashtag that was trending on Twitter to open up about the dangers of fame and compared Britney Spears' situation to former "Clueless" actress Brittany Murphy.
Brittany Murphy died on December 20, 2009. She was just 32 years old at the time of her death.

Posting a picture of Brittany Murphy in her heyday, the "8 Mile" actress can be seen with her signature bright smile while carrying a Gatorade bottle with her gorgeous curly locks up and out of her face.
Saying that "Hollywood kills," Rose McGowan captioned the stunning photo of the late actress by writing, "Brittany Murphy was a lovely, amazing, force of nature. Hollywood did not treat her with the respect she deserved, making her feel less than for not being a ‘typical’ beauty. And I saw what it did to her- it ate her up."

Addressing the hardships of being famous, the "Scream" actress continued, "Hollywood kills, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly, but it kills. Your soul, your mind, your self-esteem, pressure of perfection... it’s endless and twists your mind."
Rose McGowan then turned her focus back to Brittany Murphy. "I’m so sorry you didn’t make it, Brittany. Your talent deserved better, your soul deserved better." That's when she brought Britney Spears into the conversation, saying unlike Brittany Murphy, the "Toxic" pop star can still be saved.

"There’s another Britney on my mind today, too, one that is alive, one that can be saved from the leaches that are controlling and trafficking her," Rose McGowan told her army, demanding, "Free all the Britneys and all those who get hurt by the trauma of Hollywood values and toxic ‘rules.’"
Fans immediately began applauding the actress speaking out about her support for the #FreeBritney movement. This isn't the first time that Rose McGowan has spoken out about #FreeBritney. She called on her fans last year to help champion Britney Spears out of her longtime conservatorship. As The Blast reported, Britney Spears' fans are planning a protest outside her upcoming conservatorship hearing to rally around the star.
