Like mother, like twins!
Mariah Carey is singing the praises of her creative and talented kids and is excited to see what they do as they grow up. In a recent interview with E! News, the iconic singer discussed how her 11-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, who she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon, have inherited her musical talents.

At the recent Moët & Chandon Holiday Celebration, Carey told E! News that "Rocky is a technical genius. He could do anything he wanted, and I will support him." She continued by saying, "He and Roe are both such creative geniuses. Honestly their tone when they sing is so beautiful, and I'm so thankful that they inherited that from me." She added, "I can't wait to see what and who they grow up to be."
Both kids helped out with Carey's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade performance as backup dancers, and she was excited they wanted to be a part of it. "When they want to be involved and feel like it will be something fun, they show up, attend rehearsals, and get really into it," she said. "It's such a joy to be able to watch them when they're fully engaged, relating to their other friends - many of which are aspiring singers or dancers who weren't born into the entertainment world."
The singer is making sure to put an emphasis on a good working ethic and is enjoying watching them grow. "I think it's important that they learn these lessons because I grew up without that privilege and they need to understand that it is so important to try your hardest and do your best," she explained. "It's one of my greatest honors to watch them shine."

During Carey's "Merry Christmas to All" show last weekend in Toronto, Monroe joined her mom on stage to duet the classic hymn "Away in a Manger." The performance had audience members screaming for the 11-year-old's amazing voice. Carey shared a carousel of photos of the evening on her Instagram page captioning it, "Thank you so much to alllll the Canadian fans and lambs that came out to celebrate with me at my show last night!!!! Merry Christmas to All!! ❤️🎄🎄🕊❤️"
Many fans took to the comment section to say how great Monroe was during the show. "It was a lovely show and I loved when your daughter performed with you! 🔥🔥🔥," one fan wrote. Another added, "LET'S NOT FORGET HOW SLAY ROE WAS! SISTA ATE."
This wasn't the first time joining her mom on stage to perform. Monroe, along with twin Moroccan joined their mom on stage during a performance of "Always Be My Baby" during Carey's "#1 to Infinity" Las Vegas residency a few years ago. And they are often seen on Carey's social media singing, dancing and acting.
In September, the kids, along with Millie Bobby Brown, helped Carey recreate a scene from her iconic "Honey" video. The twins were naturals in the hilarious roles they played in the clip.

In another video shared on Carey's Instagram page, fans got to see two non-singing talents the twins have - fashion and comedy. In the video, viewers see both kids walking a runway in what turns out to be a comedy skit captioned, "No kids were harmed in the making of this video 😂💖🤍"
