Heather Rae Young Marked 'Extra Special' Christmas Tradition With Husband & Stepkids

Heather Rae Young is giving her unborn child the early Christmas tradition experience!

The pregnant star, who found love with husband Tarek El Moussa two years ago, shares two lovely stepkids with him, Taylor and Brayden, from his first marriage. Excited with the idea of making more memories this Christmas time got her reminiscing on how much fun the previous year was and why it is extra special for them this year.  

It is the time of the year again when families gather together to celebrate the end of the year by planning lovely photoshoots in comfy outfits, which are usually the same design. The former "Playboy of the Month" model was no different, as she shared precious pictures from their first Christmas photoshoot after they got married before she got pregnant.  

In the first throwback image on her Instagram page, the family of four wore matching pajamas that were black-and-white plaid sets with red cuffs and necklines. Heather, the kids, and their dog sat on the floor while Tarek peeked from behind them.

The following slide saw the girls matching in plain red onesies and the boys in red-and-black ensembles as they sat close together outside on the pavement, sporting happy smiles. The next picture saw a fun switch, with the reality TV star lifting the 7-year-old in the air.

The 12-year-old threw her arms in a tight embrace across her dad's shoulders, while the last slide saw them standing in front of a wooden carriage as the 41-year-old held his son in his arms. 

"Looking back at our favorite tradition of taking family Christmas photos in cute jammies!" she began the caption, adding, "This year was extra special 🤰🏼 and the best Christmas jammie year yet!!"

Heather then disclosed that they planned to take professional photos, but unfortunately, their photographer fell ill. Instead of letting their moods turn sour, they decided to take "cute and natural photos" next to their tree. The actress ended the message by writing:

"it was special, and I can't wait for you to see how they came out. When should I post them?! Asap or should I wait until it gets closer to Xmas??! 🤶❤️✨."

Although it looked like she was going to keep the new pictures to herself, the blonde beauty decided to have mercy on her followers by sharing activities from behind the scene of their chaotic shoot.

The family dog took the lead in matching pajamas, posed leaning on the couch. The following slide was a video clip done by the "Entertainment Tonight" guest host saying "Christmas videos, pictures," as his wife walked into the living area opening her robe to rub her belly for the camera. 

He spun the camera to tease Brayden, who sat at the dining table and moved to Taylor as she came down the stairs to hug her stepmom before bending to lift their pet dog. The "Love in the time of Monsters" actress showed her bump saying "Baby’s first Christmas, technically" as the kids shouted at each other in the background, writing, "always craziness in our house. Ready for a newborn."

Settling down, they cuddled together on the couch ending the day with a movie as she captioned the post, "movie night traditions. Home Alone." 

The model has taken on the role of being a mother, a feat she credited to her beau's kids, whom she has taken as her own. Fans will recall that The Blast shared when she revealed that initially, she was not sure of having kids till she met his. 

She noted this on her page when she posted pictures from her beautiful wonderland-themed baby shower. Walking in with Taylor in the first slide, the pair were all smiles as they looked stunning in their gorgeous dresses. 

In the caption, she wrote, "Walked into winter wonderland hand in hand with Tay 🤍 and it meant the world to me." Continuing the emotional post, she noted that meeting the love of her life and his children, who melted her heart, made her want to be a mother. 

She concluded, "It's truly the hardest job in the world raising humans but also the best & can't wait to add another baby El Moussa to the family ❤️."
