Britney Spears Goes 'Code Red' In New Instagram Post, What Does It Mean?

Britney Spears once again has fans in a frenzy over possibly sending cryptic messages through her social media posts. The 38-year-old Princess of Pop was out of this world in her latest Instagram post while supposedly wondering about the great mysteries of space. Even though her comments seemed innocent enough, fans have been decoding Britney's posts and believe she has been trying to convey a greater message to her die-hard fans without those involved in her conservatorship catching on to the secret communications.

Britney's photo on Thursday afternoon showed a brilliant yellow sun setting among a blood-red sky, and the vibrant colors seemed to trigger the star into a deep moment of thought.

"This is so cool the sky looks red .... almost like Mars !!!!! Psss I heard on the news about a new planet in our solar system called Planet Nine !!!!!!! I wonder what’s on this planet ??? ...... or is it a planet at all ???? ?????" Britney captioned the pic.

Fans quickly responded to Britney's intergalactic-themed post.

"Queen of MARS? Britney before you go... finish the lyrics ?" one fan proclaimed.

However, others began discussing whether Britney was reacting to an earlier request from a fan who had asked her to wear red in a future video.

"I asked her yesterday to wear red ! Now she’s posting a red sky?" the fan wondered. The discussion got others talking about, as fans have been making subtle requests in the comments for Britney to be able to reach out if she needs help.

"THIS IS THE LAST WARNING IT'S CODE RED" another fan exclaimed. Others jumped on that sentiment and believed Britney was really trying to send a message about being in trouble.

"I’m sure a lot of ppl are commenting to wear certain colors, I saw today black and white.. idk but I’m sure her comments are being monitored as well. It’s heartbreaking," another person commented.

As for who would be monitoring Britney's social media, it would most likely be those involved with her conservatorship, including manager Lou Taylor. Taylor has become one of the main players in Britney's ongoing conservatorship, and fans believe she has been operating without the pop singer's best interests in mind.
